Cirque - are there any BAD seats really?

For those who have been to Cirque, are there any seating areas you would avoid?

We'll be a group of 8 with 4 kids (15,14,13 and 7). I'd like the lower priced seats, but I think that would be really up high and be too far to really see the costumes, makeup, etc.....so I wonder if I pay full price for each ticket, where should I try to be so everyone will have a good view?

There really aren't any bad seats there. I would save where I could for a group this large.

Hi, I don't know if you've seen a seating plan or not (here's one). I have read on previous threads quite a few times that there aren't any bad seats. We will be there on our last night 17th April, & are really looking forward to it. I've just found a site with a small picture of the inside of the theatre here.

The three center sections are good! We were in the front of 205, closest to 204. If there is any way you can get the first or second blue row in 205, 204 or 203 you'd be fine. I'd also think that the front of 202 closest to 203 or the front of 206 closest to 205 would be good.

Can they tell you the available seats before you pay?

I don't think you need to be in the 100s. It's probably overwhelming!

I would agree that there are no "bad" seats as the action takes place all around the stage. I was in the second row stage right and I wished that I was sitting up a bit higher as there are some acts that take place a ways off of the stage and my neck was a bit sore from looking up all the time -- certainly didn't take away from my enjoyment of it though. You'll be surprised how small the theater actually feels once you are inside!
