Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

does anyone know where I can find the dining calculator so I can find out when I can call I am going November 5th and I understand we can call 100 days in advance

Can anyone send me a link to the tips on how to get the CRT reservations? I clicked the link on the first page of this thread, but got a blank page. Was it moved somewhere?

Thanks!

That's what I thought! Well, I was insane enough to get up at 6:30 am on a Saturday, but I got my CRT breakfast ressies!

You thought you were insane, I was up at 3:55 AM on Sat morning to get ressies for us on 10/14 and we don't even have any little kids anymore. Ours are in the 18 - 27 year old range, but the two girls wanted to try it at least one time. I felt kind of silly when the CM asked how many kids and I had to say it's only adults.

I tried two different times earlier in the week to get breakfast or lunch and had no luck.

Here is the link you requested. Most things are 90 days, but this link will also show you what is what. Good luck!

I just got CRT lunch for October 19. I am 92 days out for CRT, 91 for my hotel reservation. Breakfast would have been my first choice but it was already full. The CM said I could have started booking on sunday. I am just so happy DD5 will be able to have a meal in the castle. Good luck to everyone!

So I understand I take the 90 days out from the date I want and add ten days to the front and that is when I can start caLling. I want Saturday the fifth of November and then I will try everyday after that. thanks in advance for your help

For anyone wondering whether all the work for CRT is worth it: IT IS SOOOOO WORTH IT! At the 90 day mark, I got our party of 15 (yes FIFTEEN!) a PS for last week. My DD (3.5) wore a Cinderella dress and DNiece (2.5) wore a Snow White Dress. Everyone loved it. Even my 6 yr old nephew got his picture w/Cindy! My DSIL was so grateful that I brought an extra dress for her DD. The castle was beautiful and the food was great -we had breakfast. The character interaction was the best of our trip. We saw Cinderella, Snow White, Princess Aurora, Mary Poppins, Belle, and the Fairy Godmother. While we saw princesses elsewhere during our trip, we all agreed that at CRT they were the most beautiful and "in character". Our PS was for 8:20, so we walked right out to FantasyLand shortly after park opening! Good Luck to all!

Thanks for the post about CRT being worth it! I had wondered, seeing all the aggrevation I went throught the get the ressie! My DD(5) will be wearing her Cinderella dress as well! I tried it on her the other day (since she wore it for Halloween when she was 3) and it did still fit.......in fact, I couldn't get her to take it off! Can't wait until Oct. 14! Our ressie is for 8:55 am. At that hour of the morning, can you walk through the castle to get to the restaurant or do you have to go all the way around?

I am SO GLAD that I found these boards over the weekend. I was reading about all the confusion about calling for reservations 100 days vs 90 days. My 90 days would have started on Thursday (at 4:50 AM) but I called today just to check - what was the worst thing they could do, tell me call back on Thursday?

I got into Cinderella on the 1st try! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Plus I got into everything else that I wanted: Chef Mickey, Mama Melrose, and California Grill.

I was jumping around my house and my kids were looking at me like I had gone crazy. This trip is a suprise to my 5 year old so I couldn't tell her why I was so excited. Anyway I had to tell someone that would understand - my hubby thinks I have absolutely lost my mind!

How does the new 90+10 day adr policy effect the way to call for Cindy's now? Do you still do the #1, #1 & then get a CM or do you have to put in your resort confirmation #?

This is our first trip so I pushed #1, then #2, then you put in either your phone number or Disney Account number. Tell the reservationist that you are staying at a Disney Resort - my travel agent didn't give me the correct Disney Account number and she still let me book everything.

The girl that I talked to didn't offer the new 10 day window until I told her we were staying at a WDW resort.

She also said that people will still be able to call in at the 90 day mark and have tables available. They only open 20 tables at Cinderella before the 90 day mark.

Good luck

We had the saddest thing happen to us on our trip. As you can see, we were going with my son and his family. My husband and I checked in on Saturday, July 16th at Port Orleans Riverside (still our favorite moderate), then on Sunday we checked into Old Key West for our first stay as DVC members in a bigger unit (we've stayed twice before as members, but in a studio which isn't much different than staying in the resort as a resort guest). But after waiting quite a while to check in, and while we were doing so I picked up our Hoop-Dee-Doo tickets for that night, we went outside to wait for my son (they were driving over), I noticed that we had had a phone call from my husband's parents. I had my phone on discreet and hadn't noticed the call. He returned the call, unfortunately, my mother-in-law who has been suffering from stomach cancer had died. Now our room isn't ready (it's only about 1 o'clock) and we're in turmoil, first we need to cry and figure out what arrangements we need to make. The CMs at OKW were great, particularly Concierge Christine and (I don't know his title) Justin. Justin arranged for us to use the OKW conference room so we could be by ourselves. But anyway, I know you all can understand that after planning this trip for almost 2 years, we were now in the situation of having to go home. This was Sunday, the earliest we could get out (without a ton of penalty charges from Continental Airlines - there doesn't seem to be any kind of bereavement policy), but that's a different story. I had to change the (pre-paid, non-refundable) Hoop-Dee-Doo. Needless to say, my husband and I were not in the mood for that. Thanks to Christine, they agreed to refund the money for my husband and me. Now I had to deal with the Princess Breakfast - the person making the reservations has to show photo id, they wouldn't budge, it was either cancel, or I had to show up. With a 7 year-old with her Snow White costume all ready there was no way we were cancelling. So the next day, we got up and took our car to the Magic Kingdom. Walked to the castle, explained, rather loudly why I was there and they just said it's ok, don't worry about it (never looked at my id)....I actually would've gone to the breakfast, but my husband was with us (I also wouldn't leave him alone) so I didn't go. The kids (my daughter-in-law told me later) were upset when they realized we had left (I of course was then upset because they had gotten upset). But, because it was the one ride I had wanted to try and we were already out and about and it wasn't too hard to do, we rode the monorail to EPCOT and got fast passes for Soarin. Then we went to The Living Seas and saw a cute new animated film starring a turtle character (I bet you all know about it, I didn't). We saw a line, we had time to waste till our fast pass time, so we went. It was SOOO cute. Make sure you take your little ones - I will not say anything else! And then we went on Soarin which I just loved - it's too short - but I loved it. Then we walked around the countries, usually I like to shop but feeling like we were (very down and VERY hot), we just went back to OKW were I did go in the pool to cool off. I'm sorry, I'm digressing, so I'll end here, bottom line, we're now home, the wake is tomorrow and the funeral Thursday. Indulge me one more digression - I was not only lucky enough to get Cindy's Breakfast at 8:20, I was extremely lucky and got an Illuminations cruise for Thursday night and the boat will be decorated for my grandson's birthday, which is Saturday. Some of these things at the time I was so upset about, I just couldn't talk...I hadn't told any of my son's family, I was just gonna tell them where to park and walk to the dock and have them all see the boat. I of course had to explain the whole thing to my son and they'll still keep it a secret for my grandson.
Thank you for indulging me.

Please return to Cindy talk - I just knew you'd all understand...thanks.

Parrotheadlois, I am sorry. Hang in there, and if it helps at all you will be in my prayers and thoughts. :

Thank you, I appreciate it - so much.. I could use a hug, that was what I told Concierge Christine - if I could reach over the counter - she would've received a big hug - she was so sweet. (A letter to OKW will be done praising their CM's.)

Oh you poor dear. You whole family must have been in a turmoil. Please know that our thoughts and our prayers are with you. :grouphug:

Thank you, thanks to all. I'm so zonked that I'm going to bed now, with any luck to get some sleep. Tomorrow will be a very bad day.

OK...I am a tad confused because of many things I have read...

First, is CRT a Character meal for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner?

Second, I am dying to go here but I have 2 boys (8 and almost 2 at time of travel). What do you think my boys would do, well, not hte almost 2 year old but my 8 year old?

Third, I have read you can call up to 100 days in advance for ressies now?! I thought it was still 90 days out from the FIRST day of your trip? Am I incorrect?

Could anyone help me with tis?

Thanks!
