Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

OK...I am a tad confused because of many things I have read...

First, is CRT a Character meal for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner?

CRT is only a character meal at Breakfast and Lunch. Dinner is not characters but it is still an amazing experience to dine in the castle. You're also likely to see a princess (Cindy or otherwise) in the lobby.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your other two questions.

I can't believe I got it! CRT, *plus* all the other adr's I wanted for the whole trip!!! I didn't learn about the 90 + 10 until this morning, and I was SURE it would mean that I would miss out on CRT (just because of my luck), but I got it! *sigh* DD's head is going to explode, she'll be so ecstatic! We're not telling her we're going until her birthday, which is 2 days before! Well, she said she wanted a "princess birthday"!!!

Yesterday I struck out and booked the Princes Storybook Breakfast...but this morning I was able to get Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast at 8:05am...the person on the phone said I was the first one to get in...awesome...

We have never been before...we are actually staying at our timeshare, Sheraton Vistana Resort...about how long does it take to get into the parking lot, park, restaurant...

Any information would be appreciated...

What is this extra 10 day thing and what exactly does it apply to ? I saw it mentioned and was wondering. Thanks !!

Also, anyone dine for Cinderella's character lunch ? I'm trying to decide if we should go to Cindy's lunch and breakfast ? I got PS's for both and I'm just not sure what to do. Thanks !!

Our ressie is for 8:55 am. At that hour of the morning, can you walk through the castle to get to the restaurant or do you have to go all the way around?
We went right through the castle for our 8:20 ressie. Make sure to get there a little early or you will be fighting the opening crowd. Enjoy!

There's a thread on the Restaurants board with all the details. Basically, if you're staying on Disney property, at the 90-day ADR mark, you can make ADRs for the entire length of your trip (up to 10 days)... CRT included. This way, you don't need to keep calling back every day to make each day's ADR.

My sister-in-law and I tag teamed to get a character breakfast at the castle with Cinderella. My sil was able to get through the second day of calling, and although the breakfast was booked, she was offered to book a lunch with Cinderella.

The woman on the phones said it's the same thing as the breakfast, but it is just lunch instead. We happily accepted this. (We have five kids with us who will be ranging from 15 mths to age 8 in October.)

My question is, I only thought it was a breakfast. Is this lunch new? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!

I sent in my PS requests to the IPO at the Contemporary for our stay in September. We had not really planned to do CRT, but I decided to give it a try, since we are staying in the Concierge level. I was told since we missed the 90 day window, we did not get a guaranteed table, but we are on a 14 day list, which is booked 2 weeks out. I was told since we are a party of 3 it shouldn't be a problem. We won't really fret if we don't get in. Our DD is only a smidge over 2 so she won't remember it anyway, but keep your fingers crossed for us!

Ok, I am making my first post here, hoping for some expert advice! After a suprise vacation last year, I really was "unaware" of the process needed to make these ADRs, esp. for anything having to do with Cinderella. Needless to say, I am trying really hard to make this fall's trip extra special. Question: I do have dinner reservations at 1900 Park Fare on my DD'd 5th birthday. Is that a good bet, or should I try in vain to get CRT or Princess Storybook Breakfast? I am at a loss and need some professional guidance! :confused3

I would think you can't do anything more special for your DD's 5th bday than to eat with the princesses in the castle. Have you seen pics of the inside of that place? It's amazing! You walk up a spiral staircase in one of the castle's towers and into the dining area which looks like it's straight out of a movie. You're overlooking Fantasyland..... your server addresses you like royalty..... the food is pretty good (although filling)..... and the princesses will engage your table in nice conversation and a photo. Need I go on?

Got this update today from an Orlando guest newsletter I belong to. Looks like Cinderella stays at the 90 day mark:

Orlando Vacation Hotels Update on Disney's New Dining Procedures: Cinderellas excluded from early reservations for resort guests:
Update: Cinderella's Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom (with it's very popular character breakfast) has been EXCLUDED from the early reservations program for onsite guests. For reservations at the CRT you must still call at the 90-day mark regardless of whether or not you are a resort guest.

Thank you for posting this! I just got off the phone with WDW Dining and I thought CRT was included in this policy....the very nice CM told me otherwise. Calling again tomorrow morning! :)

It is interesting because I called today to get CRT and she told me that all of October is FULL. I asked how this could be possible and she told me that people could make ressies for their entire stay. Then she added that more tables open up every morning. My question is How Many Tables?? I am feeling a little bit put off. What has anyone else have happen? Just wondering if it is worth it to get up at 5:30 to start calling at 5:55.

Thanks for any help
Debbie

Summer16, the lunch at CRT is new...just started in June. I was told by CM that it is the samething as breakfast but just lunch foods. You can go to www.allearsnet.com for a review of the new princess lunch at CRT.

Have fun!

I am so excited. I just got off the phone and got my ressie. It is for 8:05. :cool1: :cool1: Thanks for all the help. Now I just need to worry about park hours and how I am going to get to MK that early if they do not open until 9. If anyone has any suggestions I would love it.

Good luck eveyone else

Even if MK doesn't open til 9, you can obviously still get in for your 8:05 CRT. There will be CMs at the gate-- just tell them you have an 8:05 ressie (and bring your confirmation number just in case). Oh, and make sure you bring your camera too because it will be a great opportunity for EMPTY Main Street photos. Not sure what resort you're staying at, but make sure they have a MK bus running that early to pick you up. Plan on being at MK by 7:45.... or earlier if you want to take lots of Main Street photos.

thanks for the tip. I think that is a great idea for wondrful photos. I can not wait. I am staying a AKL, so hopefully that will not be a problem. Here is some pixie dust for everyone who is trying. :wizard:

I have 2 extra CRT breakfast reservations (party of 4) for the 2nd week in Oct. I would love to pass them to someone who needs a reservation. Can someone tell me how to do that?

PrincessJV,
I had tickets and got on this thread and just gave the date and time and told people to PM me if they would like them. When I got a PM we would out a plan.
We picked a day and time that I would call and cancel and then she called about 10 minutes later and she got it!! I was so happy someone on the Disboard was able to get them.
Hope this helps.
Kris
