Thank you all for letting us know about chef mickey's. Does anyone know anything about this pin trading deal with cast members? A lady I work with was telling me about this and it sounds like a great way to get a fun souvineer that will last longer than a stuffed animal.

I'm going to be cancelling a CRT for 6 people on May 29 at 8:10 am tomorrow. If anyone wants to coordinate so they can snatch it up, PM me your AOL or Yahoo IM ID and I'll message you before I call.

Also will be cancelling the kid's Pirate Cruise for June 1 if anyone wants that.

I'm so disappointed!
I tried to do it as the directions stated but it kept putting me on hold. Finally at about 6:05am (my central time) I just stayed on hold and no one answered until after 6:30am. All they had left for June 16th was a 2 seat table and I couldn't do it... it's me and 3 kids on this trip.

June 16th is my 4yr old's birthday (turning 5) and she thinks she's going to be in Cindy's castle on her birthday.

If anyone decides to cancel for breakfast or lunch on June 16th- PLEASE let me know so maybe we can coincide your cancellation and my PS at the same time. I would really appreciate it. she's going to be heartbroken.

Did you hang up the first few times you were put on hold? I've been put on hold when calling for CRT but for only a very short time - even if you are put on hold right away do not hang up as you will get through- Do you have any other days to call to get just incase you can not get a cancellation for the 16th - I would keep calling for a back up date and then continue trying for a cancellation for the 16th - Also they are starting a character lunch now - so when you call to check for cancellations ask them to check the Breakfast and lunch.

I did check for breakfast and lunch-both were booked. I also tried for Cindy at GF -booked also! I was surprised- I guess that's 'found out' by everyone now too and so it's booked as fast as the castle is now.

We got Akershus for dinner that day- but it's not the same since Cindy isn't there. She thinks she's going to be in Cindy's castle on her birthday and that Cindy is going to tell her happy birthday. This is my Princess obsessed child... my biggest fellow Disney fan in this family. *sigh*

I did hang up the first few times I was put on hold- I thought that's what I was supposed to do.... I thought staying on hold was the wrong thing to do. Great- so I did it wrong? I thought if you didn't get through and got put on hold you were supposed to redial. That's what I did until about 7:05am (6:05 my time) and then I gave up the ghost (so to speak) and just stayed on hold- by that time the message was already saying if you are calling for Cinderella breakfast they are most likely taken already. I was calling on 2 phones- home phone and cellphone.
There was only an opening for a table of 2- and that wouldn't work for us.

We can try for the 22nd since that's another day we'll be in MK but it's not the same as on her birthday- yanno? That's what she's really expecting and she's the only one really interested in going there (my son's not into princesses ofcourse and my oldest is 11... so she's not all that into it either)- so it was really just for the youngest and on her birthday. Yanno? I was hoping we'd get it... but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

WE DECIDED TO TRY PRINCESS LUNCH AT EPCOT, MY DAUGHTER ALSO LOVES BELLE.
ALL I CAN SAY IS WATCH THIS BOARD PEOPLE WILL LET YOU KNOW IF THEY ARE GOING TO CANCELL AND CALL THE DAY YOU ARIVE AT WDW. THEY MAY HAVE CANCELLATIONS THE WEEK YOU ARRIVE.

I'm sorry you didn't get in for your DD's birthday - I can understand your disappointment - I would keep checking these boards for people cancelling and I would continue to call for cancellations for CRT and Cindy'a Gala Feast - lots of people make multiple PS's and then start cancelling. Just keep trying for the 16th but in the mean time if you want to try again for the 22nd - make sure that you start calling about 5 minutes before 7 EST - I am in the central time zone to so I start calling at 5:55 and I keep hitting redial until I get the open message - once you get that open message listen very carefully - if you get this " thank you for calling DIsney Dining At this time we are experiencing high call volume ...thank you for your understanding" once you here the word understanding immediately hit 1,1 on your phone - you will be put on hold - do not hang up , a cm will answer shortly- you can also get the regular opening message , it will say welcome to Disney Dining ...... If you are calling for Victoria and Alberts press 2 - immediately when you here this press 1,1 - again you will get put on hold for a few seconds , do not hang up and you will get through - I hope this helps - good luck ! I hope that you can get a seating for CRT and even if you get the 22nd keep trying for the 16th - you can always cancel the 22nd if you get the 16th

I would call back this morning just to check for cancellations - if some people had more than one person calling and they both got through they may call back and cancel right away. It doesn't hurt to check.

If they still have the table for 2, are you travelling w/ another adult that could take the other 2 kids somewhere while you take DD to the castle? Or could you put the other 2 kids in a fun kids program for the morning while you and DD go to cindys? just a thought as its mostly for your youngest...

I just called...dates had to change and we had to plan late so we missed calling 90 days ahead. The very nice CM said there was a table for 11 that had just cancelled...we are a family of five...she said they would not split up the reservation...only a family of 11 could pick up the cancellation...does that not make sense? I think it would be much easier to have my family of five and then get two families to split the 6 if necessary...but this just seems a complete lack of common sense. How many families of 11 would want Cindy's anyhow? I'm looking for May 18th and will keep trying every few days..but I just thought that didn't make sense.

When I called I got both messages mentioned above- and would get put on hold... I'd wait a bit and then hang up. I THOUGHT that's what I was supposed to do- try to avoid being on hold. Apparently I thought wrong. I did it completely wrong I guess- so it's my fault I didn't get it... probably. I can't believe I messed it up.

I did call back a couple of times today- so far no cancellations for breakfast or lunch for that day. But I'm thinking maybe in the next few days there might be cancellations and MAYBE (fingers and toes crossed) I'll get in on one of those cancellations. Because I keep thinking maybe people are calling for every day of their trip and got a PS for June 16th but that wasn't really "the" day they really wanted? And maybe if they call another day and get a PS they'll cancel the one for June 16th? I'm hoping that's a possibility. LOL

The table for 2 would not work for us since my husband is not coming on this trip. It will be just me and my children, none of which are old enough to be left on their own while I went with my youngest to the table for 2. I hadn't thought of putting them in a kids club.

Don't give up! Use the 1-800 number to check for cancellations daily and then within 48 hrs of the date since that's when people have to cancel by without penalty. Don't use the 1-800 number to call first thing in the morning though it takes too long.

When I called to check for cancellations earlier the lady said that with Cindy breakfast it's only 24hrs to cancel. So that would really be cutting it short to wait until then to get a PS at Cindy's- we'll have to make SOME plans for breakfast and lunch that day and if we changed it at the last minute like that- wouldn't we mess things up by cancelling the other PS's that late/within 24hrs? I thought it was 48hrs too but she said it was 24hrs. (I know how different CM's say different things though...)

What is going on with my countdowns? Are they showing as gobbledygook for everyone else or just me? What a mess under my posts.

BibbidyBobbidyBoo- I only mentioned kids clubs b/c they take ages 4-12 I believe? And someone posted pix of their trip at GF w/ pix of their 4 yo son at a kids club while they went to eat (something DH & I would enjoy, but our kids are 2...) that being said, the poster mentioned they had to drag their son out of there after 4 hrs, he loved it, and the pix looked really cool....something to look into...if considering taking DD for her bday to CRT, I'll bet the other 2 kids would LOVE the kids club...dont know hours/locations, but cost was reasonable for Disney themed kids club! Hope you make out either way

Try booking for the party of 11 (make up 6 other names) then after a while, call back and tell them the other family of 6 going with you had to change their plans and wont be going with you, so you only need 5 seats and have to cancel the other 6 seats. I think you can do it that way.

I'm still jumping. I got it, I got it. Thanks for all the messages and guides. We're arriving on the 16th of June, and I was able to get the first morning we are there, at 8:10.
I wasn't feeling that well when I got up but talk about an instan cure. Good luck to everybody.

Yeah....I tried that table of 11 idea...wouldn't fly...her remark is that the table actually sits 11 people...now I remember being in there and never noticing a table that long...I asked her if I could just recruit 1 or two other families to equal the 6 I'm missing and will dine European style together...I don't think anyone would mind eating at a table with us..we really do have nice table manners! But she said if we had 9 there and 2 didn't show up that they would mark us down as an incomplete party and not let the 9 go in! I'm going to try one more time today and confirm the date that table of 11 is open...I think I saw one other poster wanting a table that week so maybe I can work this out somehow. Wish me luck!

I heard a rumor that Cindy's breakfast only has Cindy and not all the other princesses that they usually have. Can anyone verify.
