Is there anyway to get around the recording asking for my phone number?

I do believe if you indicate you are a resident of FL it will not ask you for your phone number --- whether you are or not does not matter -- all options take you to the same operator....make sure you read that very comprehensive posting a couple pages back -- it tells you exactly what numbers to push to get around the system....

Are you wondering about the time to call or a time to eat?
It is great to get an early PS so you can enter the park early. But, you probably just need to take what you can get.

Just a quick note but we got back home from the world on dec 11th and wanted to thank everyone here for their help and encouragement for crt and to let you all know that it is possible to get this ps and it is worth it they do have it down to a science at this venue the food was very good considering how many people they have to feed here the princess interaction was kinda short but our little one was only 20 months at the time and was more interested in eating and seeing the horses on cindys carousel
( on side note Cindys horse number 37 was pointed out to myself and my princess one morning by a very helpful castmember who informed me to stay on after the ride to ensure my daughter would get to ride this particular horse , The story is something like prince charming gave her a particular horse on the carousel . This particular castmember was spectacular because my little one had to ride the carousel a number of times just because it is her favourite ride)
but everyone keep the faith you really can get through to get this very special ps

MVA418, I had the same problem. I went back a couple pages and found this tip. Start calling at 6:58am eastern time. If they say "Our offices are closed", hang up right after they say "offices" and hit redial. When they open, you will get a different greeting. They ramble on for a couple minutes. As soon as they say the word "understand", push 11. You will be bypassing the options that require you to put in your phone number and such. Then an operator will pick up, and you say right away "I want Cindy's for however many people, anytime."

I did this Fri. morn. and got right through! We have PS for 8:45 on April 7. I thought I would have to call every day til I got through, but I followed these tips and got through on the first try. Good luck! It doesn't ask you for your
phone number when you do it this way. You give all that info to the CM after the reservation is made.

Just wanted to let you guys know..we were there for New year's week, and had made a couple of PS for CRT, not knowing which day we would use. Well, I called on the 22nd to cxl the morning we didn't need, no problem, cancellation # given, la dee da.
SO, it's the day before our big breakfast, we're relaxing after a nice morning at MGM, and something tells me to call and check on our ressie. Wouldn't you know, they could not find us.....they had cancelled the WRONG one, even though the CM I spoke with repeated back to me the correct date, she still did it wrong. AAAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
Yeah, that was a very big yikes. We were most blessed by a helpful guest relations agent who took 35 minutes with Disney dining and scraped up two tables for our party of 8 for the next morning, an hour before our original time. Wow, what a relief. This was a minor miracle, so I would STRONGLY advise everyone to check on your PS's, especially if you have cancelled one or two of them.If you do cancel, what I would suggest is to call WDWDining back a few minutes later, just to double check - that way, you can pick up your ressie again if they've cancelled the wrong one on you!
Lots of luck to all - the breakfast really was very nice. I also recommend using the Breakfast vouchers, you can save a nice little bit, especially with larger parties (they include tip).

With a little "push" from a couple posters, I've finally gotten around to creating a post that I thought would be helpful for a while now. This board does get crowded with threads about Cinderella's and I know other threads can get overlooked, so hopefully this will help!

I was so anxious about getting ressies for my dd's birthday who will be turning 8 on April 11. On Jan 11, I woke up and forgot all about calling, and quick dashed to the phone to make the call. It was about 7:25am and I was pretty sure it would be booked and we would not get a PS. I didn't even care what time it would be at, I just wanted to surprise my dd for her bday.

Well, the wonderful lady on the other end actually had a time for 10:55am. I couldn't believe it! It was that easy, and after all the posts I had read about how hard it was to get a reservation. I guess I was pretty lucky that day.

So, just think of me when you forget to call at 6:59am and keep having to hit the redial button 60 times, that one dial-up may be the trick after all and you will get your ressie.

About a month or so ago, I was reading on here that hold times at 7:00 a.m. were outrageous...some as long as an hour!!!! Are the hold times still that long? What's the average hold time?

I dragged my DH and DS to our breakfast during the Christmas Holiday since I had booked a ressie for 4. You know how you just can't change the ressie to 2, it must be available. My DH was so impressed with the service! He even took the time to write a little note on our bill to the Manager! We've had very good service at all of the character meals. My DH is convinced that there must be some sort of seniority scale, and only the best make it into the castle! It's funny how he'll rate the Characters and wait staff from restaurant to restaurant.
I can't wait to go back again. End of January-Feb with just my 3yr old daughter!! We're going to have breakfast twice at the Castle, and once at the Storybook-since last time we were there, her favorite, Sleeping Beauty, had overslept!

After going through the survey options a reservations person came on and I told her I wanted CRT breakfast for 9 people. I couldn't believe I got in! All of a sudden I was disconnected! I frantically started calling again. For the next 30 minutes I couldn't even get through. Knowing that the breakfast usually sells out in minutes, I gave up and tried to get back to sleep. I was very upset as I was trying to get this PS for my daughter's birthday!

Later that afternoon I thought I'd just call to see if there were any PS's left. The reservations person I spoke with had 4 different breakfast times available for my day. We were both surprised! I'm happy to say we got the PS we wanted! My daughter will be there on her birthday!

I just called today and was able to get a PS for April 11 at 11:05. 3 days late and still able to get reservations. They had 2 other times still open. I think the extended hours will allow more people the oppurtunity for breakfast at the castle with the princesses.

THANKS to advice on this thread I followed the instructions and yes - we got our Cindy ressies for April 15th - 10 people at 8:30 am - I was so excited I called my sister in Buffalo and my nephew in Virginia (all off whom will be joining us) - I am still DANCING!!!!!!!!
