The Magnificent, Majestic, Magical Magic!

This isn't a trip report. I'm just reporting from my first time on the Magic, that it's AWESOME. I got a little worried because in the past couple of months, there have been reports of leaks, sewage backup, bed bugs and overall wear and tear. Most of the reports were about the deck I was on - deck 6.

I'm happy to report that I didn't encounter any of those issues and that the Magic is overall in ship shape. I've had a great time with just about everything. I'll be extremely happy to sail the Magic again and again and again.

Do you happen to know if there is prime rib on the rotational menu at Rapunzel's? I know there had been but I'm hearing rumblings that the menu is changed.

Yes, there is prime rib in Rapunzel's. Several people at my table had it.

Just sailed the Magic for 15 nights. We were skeptical, since we weren’t fans the one other time we sailed the Magic. But, we left happy. It isn’t as good as the Fantasy, but much better than the Treasure in our book.

It is my favorite ship... the layout is so logical....My only complaint is Deck 5 doesn't carry all the way through easily... Love staying on Deck 8 and easily going to the outside soda stations....

The Dream I don't care for as much - some of it feels too dated to me in the decor...

Sadly we are on the Wish next... wish we were going back on the Magic!!!

Great to hear good things about the Magic. Our family will be sailing on her in just over 3 weeks! We are super excited to sail on the OG!

We went on our first Magic cruise in early May. Three of the five members in our party were doing their first DCL cruise. They were all blown away by how beautiful the ship was. The level of service and entertainment!
We all voted that Twice Charmed was our favorite show. In fact I think it’s my favorite on all of the ships I’ve been on (Magic, Wish, Fantasy and Dream ).

Thank you! We are sailing in Sept on Deck 6 on a sideways inside room and I have been nervous. Last trip on the Magic was during the covid restart with masks and spacing and I did not love it but I am really excited to give it another shot.

I had 6634. I liked the room a lot and almost booked it again for Alaska next year, but it was priced way too high and I am going to stay on deck 2 instead.

On our two cruises on the Magic, we have had rooms 6636 and 6136, while on the Wonder we have been in 6638 twice and have the same room booked for a B2B in 2026. We like the 7A's on the two classics and being on deck 6, we are 3 decks in either direction from the top deck or getting to two of the MDR's that are located on deck 3.
