Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

Hi all!

I just wanted to say I just cancelled a PS for Nov 30th.

Another Diser, irish dancer was able to pick up a portion of it, but there may be more room left....it was for a party of 11.

I also will be releasing a CRT ps for Dec. 3rd (around 10am, I believe). I just have to confirm my schedule, but would be willing to work with another DISer to schedule the call at the same time. Just pm me if interested!

I added you to my buddy list. Not sure how it works. I'm not the most proficient pc user. We'll just keep in contact with one another. It's my hope to finalize my itinerary within the next two weeks. I am going to be cancelling a 12/7 PS if anyone is interested and wants to try and coordinate with me. It is for 16 people, so I believe it is 2 tables of 8. The time is 9:50 am. Hope someone here can use it!

I could just SCREAM! I've been so incredibly busy with the start of school and all, that I totally FORGOT to call for my PS's this week! UGH. I will call tomorrow and see what I can HOPEFULLY get. OMG.. I'm so mad at myself!

Once again, nothing to smile about. I started calling at 6:58; did the pushing #1, then #1 again, but then they want me to add all these numbers in! What am I doing wrong? I'm now sitting on hold at 7:07, knowing full well that all the PS's are GONE. Ugh. This stinks... royaly. There's not another song from Mary Poppins that they could play to cheer me up.

Same thing for me...the usual numbers didn't work. I bet that was part of the "system upgrade"...

Updated..my FIL got through with 10:20am for 6 on Dec 9. Whew. My DH is usually the Cindy's expert but even he was still on hold.

Keep on...remember there are 2 days worth of people calling for Cindy's today

CRT for dec 8th at 8:05!! I can't believe it. This was my first time ever tring for CRT!! My dd is going to be so happy to find out that she's going to eat breakfast with Cindy on her 4th birthday.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone with all the tips and advice. It was a wealth of info!! This board rocks.

I am not sure if it was pixie dust or the system upgrade, but I started dialing the 407 number at 5:59, and pushed 1 and 1, and my call was immediately picked up. I got Dec 8 at 8:20am for 9. My wife had got nothing for the past couple of days, so today was my turn and now I am rubbing my accomplishment in her face.

I got my December 8th ps too !!! But when I asked the CM if I could pay my deposit by check she started crying . She said she didn't know and and she's only had 2 days of training on the new system, I felt so bad for her!! She said there's not a manager around either, by that time I said "please just let me do it by CC it's ok I have it right here!" After about 10 min she found the info she needed! But in the end I got both the ps's I needed, I hope that poor CM'c day gets better !

I was on hold over an hour AGAIN!!! and I still did not get CRT. I guess that we just weren't meant to eat breakfast in the castle. I followed the instructions to the letter everyday that I tried. I always got right through and put on hold where I stayed for no less than 35 minutes each day. Every time I finally got a CM the breakfast was booked up. The PSB was also booked.

I did book the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Faire, so at least DD will get to eat with Cinderella.

But...if anyone decides to cancel Cindy's breakfast for Dec 5, 7, 8 or 9 please pm me.

Second and last try to get CRT reservations. I called and got through at 5:59 am Central, 6:59 Eastern, was on hold for 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES. The breakfast itself won't take that long. The worst part was the chipper Disney music for that entire time when I was not feeling very chipper. We'll just have to do something else, you'd think Disney would have a better system - like telling you what number you are on hold or how long it will take. When someone finally picked up they just said they were sorry, that I might try calling at 5:50 am next time. I told her I did that this morning and that there wouldn't be a next time. This was our last day for MK on our trip. How frustrating. Thanks for letting me vent.

NO! Didn't get them. I was on hold for 15 minutes, then hung up. I had kids to get ready for school. So bummed. I'm going to call later on to see if BY ANY CHANCE there's a cancellation, and also maybe try for the Storybook Breakfast. BUMMER. Ugh.

Congratulations to those lucky ones who were able to get PS!! Way to go!!

For those of you that didn't get through in time. I'm sorry, that totally blows! I don't know what calling at 6:50 would do, I mean, you would just get the message that they are still closed and have to hang up and keep dialing anyway? When I got mine three days in a row I started calling around 6:57 with two phones, over and over. I have two reservations I will be dropping as soon as my plans are finalized, but they are for the 29th and 30th of November.

Oh well, what cha gonna do? It's frustrating and a downer, but I'll keep trying for cancellations. I still have one more day (tomorrow)... which would put us for Dec. 9.. our last day at WDW.. that wouldn't be half bad!! The worst part is the darn long distance call. You'd think Disney could at least foot that bill! LOL I tried using my cell phone too, but dummy me forgot to charge it up last night! Argh!!!!!!!!!!
