Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

When I made my reservation, I had heard conflicting advice about how far in advance I could book, and the cast member told me 90 days...which makes sense since I booked on May 1st for July 31st, which is over 60 days in advance..

I got Cindy's ressies this morning for Tuesday Aug. 10. The date I REALLY want is Friday Aug. 13, but I am alot less stressed now. If I am successful for my Friday date, I will release Tuesday.

It will just be dd and I, my boys had NO interest in the castle. Since we have just one day each in the parks, I didn't want to "make them" go (and didn't want to waste the money, either!)

DD is nine and we only get to WDW every few years, so I figure this is our last breakfast

I will be there at CRT on June 5th!!! This is our first visit and I am soooo excited. I am the only "princess" in my family so this is really for me I know that Gay Days will be there on the same date but I do not care. Thats probably why I got the PS so easily and at 8:20am.

it looks like my strategy paid off......it's 4am here in CA, and I'm on hold, and it's after 7:03 a.m........I'm guessing I won't get a priority seating......I'm glad I booked earlier in the week, even if the date wasn't my first choice.

BUT I'M WRONG.......despite my wait, there is availability for 2, and I get my prefererred time!! (9:40, which apparently is as late as you can get???)

I will be releasing a party of 2 on Aug. 10. Please contact me if you'd like to try and arrange an "exchange" when I do so.

Poly concierge got us Cindy ressies for our July trip but there is no guarantee. I also tried for the same day and got ressies. The IPO at the Poly told me I should play the lottery because luck was with me that we both got ressies. I would think of concierge as a good back up but I would still try myself. I have heard that concierge can not always get them as they have to call just like we do.

I'm confused... I've been to wdw 2 dozen times, but never had to make the PS's.

I have to make the trip's first PS tomorrow morning.
On the ressie tips post http://www.disboards.com/showarchiv.php?s=&action=showarchiv&archivid=66523

it says that the number 1 option doesn't exist...

I practiced the other day after it opened and It appeared as though I did have to press 1-2-1-2

Can anyone who recently made a ressie confirm for me??

Just hung up with the friendly WDW reservation taker.

We got August 17 for 8:10am!!!

Now if we can only wake up early that day, we'll be OK!

Thanks to all who posted here with tips and suggestions. I followed them and getting the CRT ressie was simple as pie!!!

I followed the instructions, started calling at 6:57 am and first available for my party (4 adults, 2 childeren,) was 9 am! I took it gladly. But wow, how it filled up until 9am fast!

My son is 4 months old now, although the ressie is for 2 children, will he be charged for the breakfast? I don't think he'll be eating the breakfast by then!

Thanks again for everyone's help! Imagine if we didn't belong to these boards, and we just tried "willy-nilly", most people would be disappointed by not getting a ressie!

Yesterday I posted that I got the 8:05 for Monday the 16th. The date I originally wanted to do the CRT breakfast was Tuesday the 17th (I was afraid it would be so hard to book it that I didn't want to take a chance and miss it) Well, guess what? I got the 8:05 for the 17th! How lucky am I! The funny thing is that I got the same CM Lisa both days. She remembered me from yesterday. So, now I have it booked for 2 days in a row and I have to decide which to keep. Please give me some advice. AK had EE on Monday so I thought I might go there and do MK on Tuesday but I am afraid it might be too crowded on an EE day. But, would Monday be too crowded at MK? I don't know what to do? Help me decide, please!

I will post here when I am going to call to cancel one of the ressies so perhaps one of the fellow disers looking for a CRT ressie will be able to get it.

I'm confused by your post. EMH isn't on Monday or Tuesday at MK, so why do you expect any extra crowds then (other than usual)?

BTW - congrats on both your PS's. It's nice to have a choice!
