Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

i had extra connections breakfast vouchers since i ordered them ahead of time but my mother and father in law couldn't make it, so we decided to go to a couple extra character breakfasts.

on a whim, i called on Wed. morning to see if there was anything available for Fri. morning breakfast and she pulled up a table for 4 for 9:10 am (park opened at 9). I have heard that 48 hours is the magic time, so definitely give it a shot!

We had originally not considered CRT because DS4 is more into the other characters, but it turns out his biggest smiles were for the princesses. our little princess (almost 1) was also very excited at meeting some "face" characters. And the food was great!!

I am going in 18 days,,,,, with 3 girls, 8,7, &3. All they want is this luncheon at the castle, but they are FULL> I have begged and pleaded with reservations, but they sat they cant do anything... WIll I get in if we go and just wait? My oldest cried when I told her I wasnt sure if we could, and I feel awful, I waited till yesterday to call because we were unsure the # of people going........help!

Dawn, keep calling. Alot of people have reported good luck catching others cancelations. Also, call 2 days out, that's when they say the resorts' conceirge let's go of their tables that aren't booked. Good luck, I hope you get it!

call enough times that they either look at each other , laugh, and say "Its her again".....or give me a table! LOL. A mothers desperation I guess you could say. We'll have fun no matter what, but this would be an awesome plus, with 3 little girls. Question though, what do you mean by 2 days out?

2 days out, say you are wanting to go the 30th, so call the morning of the 28th. Hope that helps!

Last Saturday (5/10) we walked up with no PS and asked if there was anything open at all and they said they had an open reservation later in the day or we could wait right then inside the waiting room (air conditioned!) for about a half hour. We grabbed it, and walked in the waiting room to find Cindy sitting on her throne right there! It was priceless to see the kids come skipping around the corner and realize that it was her - talk about shock and awe! Don't give up if you aren't able to get PS - just check in outside and hope for some magic!

I just booked our vacation and want to know what the tips are to book this breakfast in the castle. When I click on the "tips" link in the first post of the thread, I go to an unknown address...in other words, there's an error and I don't get any tips.

Can anyone tell me what the tips are??

Hi Pyedog, The tips link no longer works...I reviewed a lot of the advice and made my own tips plan which I used about 1 1/2 months ago, & it worked perfectly.

Getting Cinderella Reservations

Before you call at exactly 60 days before you want your reservation:
1. Open up atomic clock – http://www.time.gov/ and click on Eastern Time zone
2. Have Credit Card ready

At 0656 begin calling 1-407-939-3463

There are 2 possible responses:
* Thank you for calling the Disney Reservation Center. Our office is closed… HANG UP AND HIT REDIAL

* Thank you for calling the Disney Reservation Center. Please press “1” for a priority seating other than Victoria and Alberts”. HIT “1” ON THE PHONE IMMEDIATELY.

When a representative comes on live blurt out: I need Cindy’s Breakfast for xxx people, on xxx, any time.

Note: Reservations are filled by 7:03-7:05am.

Write down the Priority Seating # and time

I was so surprised when I got through on the first try, I almost didn't say my stuff. Good Luck...we have our breakfast there in 4 days. Sandie

If I try for Cindy's Breakfast for Christmas morning, will it make it that much harder to get PS's.? Or do I have the same chance no matter what day I book?

Dh and I both got Cindy's this morning!! For July 17, we have 2 ressies, I will be canceling the one for 10:20am, which will work well for anyone staying onsite and wanting to do EMH first! If anyone wants it, PM me in the next few days! Oh, I must have been one of the first ones to get through, I didn't hold at all! I was so excited!!

I'm sure PS's are difficult to get most of the time, but I wonder if off peak PS's are easier. We will be there in Feb. (15th-19th) and I'm sure it's not as busy as summer. Will the PS's still fill up as fast? I've read posts here that say CRT fills up by 7:02!!! I'll be calling early, but just want to know what to expect.

I had totally forgotten that this was the morning I was to call for CRT PS...somehow i woke up at 5:40am (i usually get up at 7am)...suddenly it hit me that this was THE day, and i panicked coz it was way too early to remind my sister and my friend, who were both going to help me, by trying try to get thru. Well I figured I would just try on my own, tomorrow would be another day. I made my first call at 6:58, got thru, totally forgot about hitting #1 right away..... when i heard the live voice, i had been telling myself to interupt, and blurt out what i wanted, (like ive read so many times to do ) but i was in such disbelief that i let her finish talking b4 i told her what i wanted and I still got the reservation for 8:30!!!! (Which was the time I had been hoping for!!) I'm still shocked! I had been so stressed out about this and I actually got it on the very first try!! I dont usually have this kind of luck....Thanks to all of of you for the great tips, and i do believe the trick is to start calling b4 7am.....Good luck to all of you!!

Those of us on the West Coast have to wake up at 4 am to make ressies. I did this 3 days in a row and had no luck getting anything. I decided to sleep in on day 4. Called at about 7 am (10 am Eastern) and managed to get in!! What Luck! Thank goodness because that day was our last hope! All I can say for everyone is keep trying!

I called this morning. The atomic clock was at 6:59. I got right (first try) through, hit 1, a very nice cast member (Gemini) got right on with me and I got my reservations for 5 @ 9:30. I'm very happy and thanks for the tips. It was easy.

I called tonight and asked for anything between July 5 and 11th - they had just gotten a cancellation for July 5th at 9:50 - that will be our first morning in the park! What a magical beginning of a wonderful vacation! Our girls are going to love it!!! (They don't even know we are going - they've never been before)

We just went to Cindy's Breakfast a couple weeks ago. It was our first morning there. It was terrific. My 3 year old granddaughter, Princess Ashley, was dressed as a princess (and she has a full wardrobe of princess stuff). She said to Cinderella "I love you so much". Cinderella was so kind. She talked to Ashley, posed with her for pictures, and helped Ashley get her disposable camera ready, then posed for more pictures. It was a morning I (Grandmother) will never forget. It is well worth the hassle of making reservations and the price. Sandie
