Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

Where to go for Breakfast, looking for Buffet or Full Service, DD13 :rolleyes1 says she is over the charactor meals now and justs want to eat before hitting the parks.
Any ideas??

We have eaten there 5 years in a row and the prince has always been there. Other men have included Alladin and Peter Pan.

Wow, I just called and basically got right through with all times available!! :Pinkbounc The CM did say characters would be Cinderellla, Prince Charming and the Fairy Godmother with characters subject to change. My dd is going to be so excited!! I just bought her a trunk of Princess costumes from Disney Deals yesterday, so she is going to be so surprised!!

Hope you have a wonderful time! I think the change in characters is good, and others may disagree with this but I will tell you why. We have been there 3 times. Each time there have been 5 princesses. The place is small, which means the wait time between princesses is fairly abbreviated. It is very tough to eat when you are helping your little one get her book ready and taking photos every couple of minutes.

I look forward to trying a character lunch there!

A couple of suggestions: I liked the bkfast buffet at Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge before we went to AK.

Wilderness Lodge has Whispering Canyon with an all-you-can-eat breakfast. This would also be good for a teenager who's too old for characters but might enjoy the entertainment. The waiters are hilarious. Have her ask for a big glass of water or some ketchup and see what happens. After breakfast, you can ride the boat to MK.

Hope you have a great trip! :earsgirl:

We were at CRT in Novemeber and The Prince was there at Breakfast also. We really enjoyed the characters, they paid so much attention to my daughter. We are going back to CRT this July.

In Nov 2002 we had breakfast at CRT and The Prince was there then. He was the only male character there that day. So it is possible for him to be there.

Can someone please tell me if there is a difference between Cindy's BREAKFAST vs LUNCH? Do all the characters come out for both times? THX :wave2:

We won't know for sure until June 10th. That's the first character lunch at the Castle.

We had breakfast at the castle yesterday morning before our return home. My two dds loved it! There were five princesses/characters in the dining room--Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Wendy from Peter Pan and Mary Poppins. The Fairy Godmother was in the waiting area. No prince at ours. Thanks again to the disboard member who coordinated their cancellation with me. The castle was magical!!

I called the other day and got Cindy's lunch in August with no problem. I rather not spend the precious morning hours at breakfast when the attractions have no lines. By lunch time we are all tired and a nice sit-down meal with princesses is just the thing!

My guess is that not many people know about the character lunch at Cindy's.

I guess we'll be some of the first ones to experience the CRT lunch! We have a June 10, 12:00 noon reservation. I didn't know that was the start of the character lunches when I called and reserved, we just wanted lunch in the castle!

Wow! Started dialing this morning at 6:58 AM and got through on the second try!! I was dialing two phones and had my sister dialing from her house, all lines got through! Maybe with the lunch it will be a little easier for breakfast from now on.

So now we are all set for 8:10 A.M. on 9/1/2005 - my niece's 10th Birthday!!

GoingtoDisney: You're welcome! I'm glad you had a magical time. We did too -the next day! Our princesses were Belle, Cindy, Aurora, Snow White & Mary Poppins, with Fairy Godmother in the lobby.
We're doing the lunch in July and can't wait to see how it goes.

Cool! We'll be a group of 7, 5 adults, 1 teen and a birthday girl of 10. We'll be celebrating her birthday at that time, gifts and all. Please come over and say hi!

We'll be a group of 8. (2 families of 4). One family with 2 blond-headed daughters who obviously look like sisters (ages 8 & 3) and then my family with a boy (9) and girl (4) who also obviously look like brother and sister (and look just like their Dad).

Maybe we'll see you there.

Can't wait to hear details about the princess lunch at CRT. Hope it makes is easier to get a character meal there on our next trip. We didn't have any luck last time, but we did get to eat with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare. My question is have you had better luck trying to get ADR on your own or letting a TA get one for you? If a TA has been able to get an ADR for you which TA did you use? I would be willing to use a TA if they could get a meal for our 3 princesses.

Very new, very confused!! If I were to book Cindy's and Storybook and 1900 Park Fare, do I have to put a deposit down on each one? And then what if we get there and the day isn't going well and we want to cancel? Are we out the deposit? Or is the deposit just to hold your reservation and if you don't show up you're not charged? I'm just having a very hard time trying to PLAN each day and exactly what time we will eat!

Also, I have the dining plan. Do you know if each of the character meals I mentioned accept our table seating credits? If so, how does that work? Do they still take a deposit and then reimburse me when I hand in my table service credits at the meal??

Thanks so much!
