Cindy's Breakfast advice & encouragement

I got my Cindy's PS for Aug 6th. I woke up late because today was mother's day and forgot I had to call. I remembered around 10:00am and called they still had several seatings available. I got an 8:05am PS and I also booked Chef Mickey's for dinner it's DD's B-day so I'm sooo happy!!

I called at 8 am this morning to book a Fantasmic package for Aug. 5. After I booked it I joked about having to get up super early to make a Cindy's reservation for Aug. 6. She said she had every time available for that breakfast so I got an 8:15 slot. Then I called back later to make sure I did have an actual reservation and it was confirmed. The worker told me that the lunches have made it easier to get the breakfasts. It also could mean the unofficial guide's listing of Saturday as a good time to go to Magic Kingdom could be true since Aug. 6 is a Saturday and if it was going to be swamped there wouldnt be spots left at Cinderellas.

This is great news! I am going to be there Sept. 14-22. Dd's 7th birthday is on the 17th during our stay, and she wanted to eat with Cindy on her birthday which happens to be a Saturday! I'm so excited, I hope I get a ps. Plus, I REALLY want to be in the park before it opens so I can get good pics of the castle, and just have a chance to look around with out all the crowds.

I followed the instructions to the "T"
Got in after about 5 tries. was offered 3 choices of time !
Half way through I realized that I didn't have my credit card with me..
Thought I might lose my place
I blurted out "Can I please go get my card?" The CM said sure
After racing downstairs and back up , and out of breath . I said I'm back....
To which the CM replied ... "Mam, Relax"
He was great!
So we have August 8 at 9:35, This will be great as I am going with my dd and her best friend.. both 15 and they won't want to get up early.

They want to wear tiaras . I am so excited !

I now realize that to me it's scary looking at the count-down. At the ripe old age of (ok 50 something), I'm now in the process of buying my FIRST house! (We live in a 2-family with my in-laws now). And we were just advised that the seller wants to close on or about July 1st (BEFORE our WDW trip!). That trip is really important now - hopefully - we'll be able to relax!!

I just cancelled an extra Cindy's ressie for May 31 at 9:30 am. It was for 2 table of 3. I coordinated with a fellow DISer but she only needed 1 table so there's still a table for 3 available. Good Luck!

Rent or buy Unofficial Guide to WDW and it has a HUGE whole section on a process of getting a table for this event! My girls want to do this but I am leary about spending huge money on eggs...oh well, location it is!! PLUS I am a very light eater (after Weight Watchers, LOL) AND greasy fried stuff makes me sick, then to move on to Space Mountain...YIKES!!! Btw been to WDW a couple times, only the MK, and Space Mt was CLOSED both times!! YEARS apart...better luck this DECEMBER!!

You know I'm thinking that Mother's Day was just a great day to have to call and make a PS. I was able to snag an Illuminations Cruise for Aug. 6. I was sure I would not get it because I was put on hold right away at 7am, but I got it . Those babies are really hard to get.

We just got home this afternoon from WDW. After all the trouble of getting the PS for CRT, was it worth it????? YES!!!!!!! (even hard-to-please grandpa thought so, he said it was the best character breakfast he's been too) Our party consisted of one 3yr old, my husband and myself, and 2 sets of grandparents. I have to say the adults had just as much fun as my DD. I was worried after hearing only Cinderella would be there, but we had her, Belle, Aurora, Mary Poppins, and Snow White. The food was decent. Our service was wonderful. My daughter loved talking with all the princesses and loved being inside the castle. Would we plan our whole trip around this PS again???? YES!!!! I hope everyone has as much fun as we did.

I wanted to thank everyone for the advice for CRT. . Call this morning, exactly at 7:58 and followed the directions and was able to get PS'S for Saturday 8/20. 9:15 . My DD9 is really excited, this was the only character dining she requested. Thanks Again all, you made our day .

I called on Saturday and got CRT for August 19th. The CM on the phone told me the characters scheduled to be present were Cinderella, Prince Charming and the Fairy Godmother, but were subject to change.

After I got off the phone, I started thinking - I've never heard of Prince Charming at CRT - I thought it was just "princesses" and five of them at that? For example, when we went last year we saw Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Wendy, Belle and Mary Poppins.

Has anyone else ever seen or heard of Prince Charming there?

I started worrying that I actually had the wrong breakfast booked, but I had to pay a deposit, so it must be the right one, right?

I would call back and double check. Back in March when I called for my Cinderella breakfest they actually booked me for the breakfest in Epoct. I caught the mistake and had the cm fix the reservation. We have been to the Castle in the past and saw the fairygodmother along with the other princess. We have never seen the Prince. Good luck

I've never heard of the Prince at Cindy's breakfast either, but maybe things have changed since they've added the extra character meals. It never hurts to double-check though. At least that way you're sure.

The Prince was at the 1900 Park Fare Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian, but that's the only character meal where we've seen him. Though I haven't done the Epcot breakfast so I can't comment on that one. I'd be interested to know what you find out too. Good Luck!

This was reported somewhere else (another thread I believe) about the possible change to CRT. Some wonder if it will happen when they start the lunch on June 10th. We shall see I guess. I booked PSB to be sure to hit more princesses for DD to be on the safe side. You might want to do the same and then watch for posts around the 10th. I'll post what I find out in June.

In Nov 2002 we had breakfast at CRT and The Prince was there then. He was the only male character there that day. So it is possible for him to be there.
