Cindy's and a strange occurrence...AGAIN

I called just before 7:00 a.m. to get a PS for CRT for our upcoming April trip. I got through fine but the earliest seating available for April 19 was 9:00. I really wanted something earlier but made the PS anyway. I decided to call back around 9:15 to see if I could move the PS to 11:00 but lo and behold they had an 8:10 seating available which I quickly responded "I'LL TAKE IT!" The same thing happened to me last May - I called back a couple of hours after the initial PS and got an earlier seating. Is that the Twilight Zone theme I'm hearing?

Question - is this coincidence? Did someone just happen to cancel OR does WDW hold back some time slots and release them later in the morning? Any thoughts? Has anyone had this happen to them?

I don't think they hold any time slots out as I've tried later in the morning and never received anything. Probably what happened is some people do like me- have several people calling, a couple get PS and they cancel the extra ps once they've figured out which ones they want. We've done this a few times, ended up with more than one and called back to cancel.
