This is our first time taking the family (DW, DS 9, DS 7, and DD 3) to WDW for a week and staying on the resort :dance3:. We leave in less than 4 weeks and my DW and I are getting super excited. On to the question....

MK opens at 9:00, but my DD and DW have reservations at 9:00 for Cinderella's royal table breakfast. I am always 15 minutes early to everything. So do they let people in the Parks early that have reservations? Do I need to show them anything? Would myself and my sons be able to go in with them?

Thanks!

I am interested in knowing this too we have reservation for 8 am and the park does not open till 9 so them MUST let ppl in. But not sure what we need to bring to prove it. Also wondering when the busses start running in the morning. Wondering if it's better to just drive there from hotel so we get there on time!!

Hello and welcome to the boards!!

Your wife and DD will be able to enter the park 15mins before adr time. It is best to take your confirmation with you. Sometimes it is asked for, sometimes it isn't. But if they ask and you don't have it with you they won't let you in.
Depending on the CM working the gate he/she may or may not let you and your son in with them. Usually it is only those with adrs. You can ask, but be prepared to be turned down. But ask anyway...you never know. ;)

Have a safe and magical trip!!

When we had early reservations we got in early. but stupid us RAN to the castle instead of enjoying the walk ALONE on main street. I now have 8 am reservations for Crystal Palace in Oct 2011 and what they told me is you go to a side entrancewhere a CM is at I think they said it as on the right at MK the last turnstile so to speak and show them the res #and they will let you go in. take it slow and savor a few mins without the crouds and take pics!! hope this helps! Not sure if they will let you in if you dont have a reservation . You can call and ask but you might be at the mercy of a CM at that point.

What time do the buses from the resorts normaly start running? I would book an 8am reservation but am worried I wouldnt have transportation to the park that early.

We did the castle breakfast at 8am on our first trip and were able to get family pics in front of the castle with no one else there. There was a cast member that offered to take our picture for us. A great experience.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the info!! I am not too worried about if myself and my boys get in early. We will be there early with my DW and DD, so as soon as RD we will be off doing boys stuff!!!

Thanks again for the info!

I took my niece to CRT for breakfast last March and the CM had a hand-held electronic device that she punched in our confirmation number into. She saw we had an ADR for 2 but there were 3 in my group. (My sister was going to hang out and take castle pictures while we were at breakfast) They said she would not be allowed to enter until the main gates opened up.

As with just about everything at WDW, it probably depends on what CM you get.
