Hi Vandygirls! I may have missed this but to you control the car in Toy Story Mania or does it twist & turn itself. My DS likes to turn me alot on Buzz, so he can beat me...or so I use that as my excuse. He seems interested in this new ride, it may be what I need to change his mind about going.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the funny poses! I never remember while I'm there to do more funny pics! I guess the HEAT and bright sun ZAPS my mind!

Great pictures from HSM. I love that the "Fist of Rock" hand ended up flipping off the CM accidentally. I would probably do that too not knowing exactly what I was doing!

It does take some quick turns. They are more like a spin b/c it rotates you back and forth....so not really jerking but spinning

We didn't meet them we saw the power rangers from afar. We were to hot and hungry to stand in another line

Yes they have cheese at most of the places they sell the pretzels. You can get it as a snack credit but it's only a dollar. I wasn't willing to use a snack credit for only a dollar

You don't control it. It just turns. You are sitting in front of screens when you shoot

am i missing something here because i don't think we've posted any pics of the castle. i had dental work done today and took 2 ativans before hand and was pretty out of it all day, so maybe i'm just really behind!!!!!!

Dan, you will probably want to see how he is doing at that time - does he like surprises? How is he in the dark? How does he do with motion? The ride is really fast moving, and you spin around corners - really fun, but it might not be so fun for your baby, depending on his personality. My first DGS was afraid of all of the above right from birth - still is. His little sister loves anything new and exciting and she's a daredevil. She loved all of the rides we took her on at DL!

That being said - you HAVE to ride it! You could do a switch - maybe single rider. You would still have fun with a stranger You are so busy shooting things that it goes by really fast!

question for you...when we go in december, we will have the little guy with us, i have one of those pouches that he sits in, do you think he can sit in front of me on that ride, or is there room for him to sit between us on the toy story ride?

My brother and SIL had their 8 month old with them when we went this summer. They were told he could sit between them, not on a lap. They had a hard time as he wasn't sitting up on his own to well so they didn't really get to enjoy the ride. When they rode again, they did the rider switch or one of them just skipped it. It doesn't have constant motion but does whip around rather quickly in between games. During the games you are sitting still.

thanks for the advice, it looks like we might lean toward doing a switch, but who knows might change our mind when we are riding it, i will play and candi will hold parker up straight.

Ty definitely loved looking at everything. The ride will take off and spin around kinda quickly but as long as you have an arm around him (which I am sure you would! ) he will be fine!! Plus, it's a snug fit with him on your lap.

It's actually quite different than Buzz. Your car goes up and down isles of games, where it stops and you play various virtual carnival games with your "shooter," which is like a pop gun that you shoot by pulling a cord.

Hey girls! Just finished catching up. I'm so glad you enjoyed Toy Story mania. I will be riding it several times two weeks from tomorrow for my birthday. john will have to oblige because it will be my actual birthday and I'm pregnant so I get to get my way right?!?!
