Cinderella Lunch - Do we have a shot?

So, the six month window kind of flew by about a month ago and we're just being really lazy about making reservations. I realize that at this point there's no shot for Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast, but does lunch fill up quickly, too? There are characters at lunch, correct? If so, what characters?

Should I even try for Cinderella's for lunch if we're 5 months out?

So many questions!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just try! Mickey's Backyard BBQ fills up about a year in advance but I called yesterday and I got an ADR for it (I'm going in May)! People cancel, so just call every few days and you may get lucky! Good luck!

I reserved breakfast at three months out for the beginning of April. I think you should call now though!

I'd try - since they've started requiring payment in full at time of the reservation, it seems like it's not quite so hard to get in (I wouldn't wait until the week before my trip, though).

I called after the 180 day window for our upcoming trip and had no issues getting a time and day that I wanted. Definitely give them a call...I think that you will be surprised.

I suspect the payment in full policy is deterring some people from making one or more reservations "on spec". I also suspect the new prices, and MYW 2 credit, will also reduce the number of guests who eat there more than once per trip and even stop some guests who normally eat there once per trip.

Call and if you can't get anything for the dates you want call and check for cancellations. People will cancel now in order to get a refund. You can even check a few days before for last minute cancellations.

I didnt call for our March lunch at the castle until right before the 90day mark. We got the day and time we wanted.

and our trip is the first week of May. They had a few times to choose from too. I also called around 2:00 PM...not early in the morning and I got right through. Give it a try!

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I called around 5:00 tonight and there were several Cindy's seatings available for both breakfast and lunch for our party of 6. On a side note, the photo package is included in the price of the meal (which is still pricey, but at least the package is included).

Thanks for the advice!

I just called this morning for July 2 breakfast and was given several times to choose from. Since this is my first trip to WDW, I was told this is a must (3 kids 6, 5, 2) but I really don't know anything about it. I was suprised by the price (I thought I saw it was 19.99 for adults) but we still want to do it. What is the photo package that is included? Any advice would be appreciated.

From allearsnet.com.....

-- Breakfast and Lunch will continue as Disney Princess-themed character meals. However, when you arrive at Cinderella Castle for your reservation, a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of your group in the lobby, before you are seated in the dining room. A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo, as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle, in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax) will be delivered to you during your meal, which will be from a fixed-price, set menu. (Additional photos may be purchased.)

Breakfast: $31.99 ages 10 and up; $21.99 ages 3-9.

Lunch: $33.99 ages 10 and up; $22.99 ages 3-9.

I hope that helps! DH and I are doing the dinner (only the fariy godmother there) for our 10th anniversary!

I called yesterday for a CRT lunch for June and got the exact time and date that I wanted. Give it a shot!!

This is way too easy - I had a CRT for June 1, which I felt lucky to get, and I was just able to change it for an earlier time on the same day!

Go ahead and call!! I had no problems making ADR's at five months ahead and then changed up quite a few of them, including CRT. In fact, I have had NO PROBLEMS with making/changing my ADR's for any meal including CRT. Might as well call.
