Just read this message on allears newsletter:

Every day in the month of October one little girl visiting the Magic Kingdom will be chosen at random as a "Cinderella Honorary Princess of the Day" to celebrate the October 4 DVD release of the motion picture "Cinderella." The chosen princess will receive a Cinderella gown and tiara, as well as a ride in Cinderella's horse-drawn coach in an honorary princess procession ahead of the 3 p.m. parade, accompanied by banner carriers, coachmen and Cinderella's mice, Suzy and Perla. The honorary princess have a private meeting with Cinderella, and will also receive a copy of "Cinderella" on DVD.

Wish we were going in October! princess:

Oh gosh, I wish I knew the right place to be in at the right time. DD6 would be beside herself. However, even though it's not DD9's *thing*, she would probably still be jealous if little sis got picked. On the flip side, it just wouldn't be right if DD9 got picked instead.

I'm suddenly realizing that my DDs probably wouldn't be picked regardless, because I think the powers that be at Disney realize how much trauma they could cause by choosing one daughter from a family with more than one girl!

Hey! Maybe they'll pick my 14 month old DD. :) We'll be there 10/1 and 10/2 and 10/4!

Is this neat! How fun will that be for a little one.

This reminds me of the Full House TV show, when Stefanie got pushed out by Michelle, and Michelle was crowned "Princess"...

Good Luck!!

Oh my what a wonderful treat for some lucky little girls. We will be there in October and will even be at the magic kingdom on my DD 6th birthday. Wouldn't that be the world's best birthday present to be picked for that????

Well here's lots of PD that a DISER gets picked at least once. I would love to see the photo's from this.

I had the same thought about my two DD's - they are so competitive!! But with two girls, there for four days - We have eight chances, right?? :cheer2:

I cant wish for that --2 DD's-- would cause such a problem for 1 to be princess and not the other!! We wouldn't want any heartbreak on our trip in exchange for joy for the other!! I would probably have to skip it if we were magically approached--UNLESS of course they were willing to have 2 beautiful honorary princesses!!! (I am sure there would be no chance of 1 DD being picked 1 day & DD #2 being randomly choosen another day) MUCH JOY AND PIXIE DUST TO THE LUCKY PRINCESS(ES)!! princess:

How is the princess chosen? Is it just walking through MK or do you need to register somewhere?

25 is probably too old then, huh? Oh, well! I can dream!

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

What a wonderful thing to do for a little girl! :wizard:

I too read it and thought right away of my DD4 and DD18 months, and myself, I wanna be a princess too....... princess:

How wonderful. I wonder how they wil be picking the princess? My DD b-day is 10/4 and we'll be there!

I know this is going to sound terrible but I wouldn't want DDs to be picked. It does sound like a dream but I cannot imagine explaining to my 4 or 6 yo why her sister got to be a princess and she didn't. I agree with a previous poster that I would not be surprised if Disney already thought of this.
