New at this......my 2 nieces 6 & 9 want to dine with Cinderella. Should we do breakfast at the Castle or 1900 Fair Way? This is their first time at WDW. I also would like to know if we do breakfast at the Castle do we need to buy a ticket for Magic Kingdom for the day or do you just dine and leave? This is so confusing when trying to do research....I keep reading the threads but everyone uses abbreviations.

How do you go from resort to resort when you are staying off site?

Thanks.

If you eat in the castle, you must use a ticket to get into Magic Kingdom. (However, if you have added the park hopper feature to your tickets, you can go to Magic Kingdom in the morning and go to another park after you're done in Magic Kingdom.) Although it's really special because it is the castle, it can also be pretty pricey. For 1900 Park Fare, the best way to get to there is to take your resort's bus to Magic Kingdom & ride the monorail to the Grand Floridian. The monorail is right in front of Magic Kingdom & you'll definitely see it.

1900 Park Fare's dinner has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Cinderella's step-mother, and her wicked step-sisters.
Cinderella's Royal Table's breakfast has various Disney Princesses.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I hope the helps!

In order to eat in the castle you must have a park ticket for the MK (which will be an all day ticket). The best time to go eat breakfast there is before the park opens, you will get awesome pictures of the castle before the hordes of crowds come into the park :goodvibes

In order to go from resort to resort, you will have to either take a bus to the different resorts (mind you you will have to take a bus to a park or Downtown Disney and then jump onto another resort bus, buses don't go from resort to resort). If you are wanting to visit the monorail resorts, just jump onto the resort monorail line and they will stop at each of the resorts there. Some resorts offer ferry service that you can take to each of the resorts from the different parks. Have a wonderful time exploring the different resorts, it is one of our favorite non park things to do.

Ok..thanks. We are staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and wanted to go to Boardwalk and maybe to Wilderness Lodge to ride horses and do smores around the campfire.

So far we have planned: a Bonnet Creek only day, New Symrna Beach day, Magic Kingdom day, DTD & Rain Forest Cafe day, spending a day w/cousins in Vero Beach, and one open day.

BTW, there are sticky threads (threads that you can only read, not reply to) in the "Welcome to the DIS" forum that has info for newbies, common abbreviations, etc. Hope this helps!:goodvibes

Cinderella's castle requires reservations and depending on the size of your group and what time you want to eat, can be difficult. I have called 6 months in advance and had a hard time getting reservations, the sooner you call the better.

Thanks. Is it true that Cinderella does not visit the table at the Castle?

answered yet. Cinderella is downstairs right when you enter for pictures. She has a brief visit with each aprty and pictures are taken. Copies of one set (per four people in a party) of pictures are provided as part of the dining cost. At the meal there are four characters, usually princesses, that will walk to each table for a short visit, autographs and pictures.

My DD 5 loved the lunch at the castle with the princesses. As mentioned earlier, you get a meet and greet with Cinderella when you enter the castle and get a set of professional pictures. Then you head upstairs for your lunch (delicious!!!) and while you are eating, other characters come around to the table. We had Belle, Snow White, and Aurora.
