Christmas Time Crowds

Is there any time around Christmas and New Years where crowds are lighter or is it pretty busy throughout? Also, tell me a little bit about MVMCP.

It should be packed-solid from Christmas Eve to New Years Eve this year. There might actually bit a bit of a reprieve on New Years Day, since it is on a Monday and most Americans are back at work on Tuesday morning.

As the previous poster stated, it is extremely crowded at that time, but we found the crowds to be the lightest in the mornings. For example, during Christmas week 2005 Magic Kingdom was open most days at either 7:00 or 7:30 in the morning. By getting up early to get to the parks first thing in the a.m., we were able to ride everything we wanted to in all 4 parks.

We have gone twice the week before Christmas, usually driving back home on the 23rd or 24th of December. The crowds are great at this time - I don't believe we waited more than 15 minutes for anything.
