I have asked for money towards two high priced items- sat nav and ipod touch.

However I love the things I always get every year- the box of tissues, cadburies selection box, cotton buds and a magazine. It doesn't feel like Christmas without them!

We all did our letters this weekend and I've asked for Nigella's latest cook book, some perfume and some new kitchen scales. I doubt I'll get the latter as DH refuses to get household items for presents so no doubt we will just get some in January and he'll buy me a suprise

its my first christmas as a married woman and to be honest im so excited about getting a card that says to my wife that i wont care about any presents (which will no doubt please the dh !!!)

I'm hoping (fingers crossed) for an underwater camera for our april trip and some perfume.

My girls have said they would like Toy Story 3 stuff and Harry potter lego!

I've got an underwater camera and its really good to capture the memory's in the water parks especially good for rides like teamboat springs and the lazy river

Joanne, if you don't get the camera, you can get underwater pouches for digital cameras. I got one for my Fuji compact and used it this year at Typhoon Lagoon, under the water, in the wave pool, waterslides ..... it stayed bone dry in there. I was also able to shoot video.

i got mine in august, my wife Beverley, plus she has bought me a new camera a fuji hs-10.

it can also take hd video.

I'm not really wanting anything this christmas as I have been very lucky throughout this year with gifts from my parents including them giving my some money towards a deposit on a house (for when I find one) but have asked for a Kindle & Toy Story 3 dvd.
