image.jpeg image.jpeg I have a tree from Costco that has an option for both. I've always been hard core colored lights for years, but with this tree, I find myself reverting back to the white setting. They're LED lights and I love the colors, but the white is gorgeous too. And it's not the cold white, it's a warm white. image.jpeg

I have a pre-lit tree with clear lights. I like both clear and multi-colored equally, but when I bought my tree about 6 years ago they were out of stock of multi-colors. My next tree will likely be multi or the changing colors kind.

The years I got a cut tree, it was usually a combo of both clear and multi-color light strings.

White C7 (small) lights here. Both my wife and I have been scared for life from the C9 (BIG) colored lights from our childhoods. The multi-colored lights just scream the 70's!

With C7s, are you talking white or clear?

I sometimes put my C7s outside around the line of shrubs. Each light is on a small plastic spike in the ground. I know how you feel about C9s. Those buggers used to scare me as a kid as well. My mom had these thin metal shields she would put under the bulbs so that they wouldn't come in contact with the tree needles.

I like clear and I like mono-colored but I am not a fan of multi-colored.

Clear (bad habit of mine to say white when it should be clear)

White! I saw the Costco trees with the two options though and thought that was a fun way to have both.

Multi-colored is my preference. All white/clear remind me of the cheesy lights strip malls use.

I HATE coloured LED lights so I voted white as well.

We've always used white. DH prefers white, & I've always thought white looked elegant & warm & inviting.

However, last Christmas we bought a new tree for our family room which has the option for both white and multi-colored. The kids loved the multi-colored lights! And, although, we can go back & forth between the white & the multi, we were leaving the lights on the multi more often. So much so, that I changed the garland on our mantel from white lights to multi-colored lights so that the garland would match. LOL! (And I never thought we'd ever have multi-colored lights!) It's just a fun & festive look for our family room.

The lights on our kitchen tree & living room tree are white.

Our tree is clear/white.....looks very good and makes the ornaments easier to see.
We have white icicle lights outside, but will be changing to something else next year.....not sure what yet.

we use both Allowing the Soft white and Colors to alternate. As long as they are LED, there good. LED's use about 1/10th of the electricity of the regular bulbs and if you take care of them they won't burn out for many many years.

We did one tree with white lights and fancy glass elegant ornaments.
Then a second tree with multi color lights and homemade ornaments, silly ornaments For example star trek, star wars, cars, planes light up ornaments etc.

We use colored lights both for outdoor and on the Christmas tree. I like white too, but family likes the colored.

White/clear on the tree and front of the house. I put colored on the deck at my daughters request a few years ago.
