Hello!

I thought I'd ask a quick question to get some input about a gift I'm considering giving. My older sister has been easy to please for years-candles, body wash or a warm blanket and she's happy. I want to avoid the rut this year, but I'm not sure if this would be good. I recently found one of our grandma's journals and in it was a small watercolor picture done by my sister when she was about 10 or 11. It's very nice & in good condition. I was thinking of having it matted and framed for her for Christmas... Sound ok? I just am on the fence and need some impur

I Think it would be a wonderful idea :flower3:

That sounds like a wonderful gift - very meaningful.

I think it is a great gift! I found some art my husband had done as a child and had 2 of them framed last year and gave them to my MIL for Christmas. She thought at first that they were pictures my kids had done and then realized they were from her son and cried.

This reminded me of something my sister did recently for our brother's little girl. My sis had gotten some really good photos of our niece on Easter and picked 3 of those to have matted and framed. She gave this to our niece as a b'day gift and DN was thrilled - and she's only 2 years old. Her exact words were "THAT'S ME! Mommy look - that's me!" Absolutely priceless.:goodvibes I think most adults would have a similar reaction to such a personal and thoughtful gift so I say go for it.

Wow, what a wonderful gift idea! I would love that if one of my sisters gave something like that to me!!
