Apologizes if this has been asked before. I saw the Christmas Day parade on TV and was it awesome! We are thinking of going for Christmas 2006 now. Can someone tell me if I stay at a Disney resort - will I be guaranteed to get in to Magic Kingdom on that day? I know the parade is very popular and closes fairly early due to large crowds. Also, is videotaping the parade allowed? I noticed that no one seemed to have a camera or video camera on TV?
Thanks all!

Sorry but the parade is taped the first weekend in December. If you are staying at a Disney resort you are guaranteed entry to A park. It may not be the park you wanted to enter.

Yes you can video the parade. If you were an extra at the parade taping you weren't allowed to use your camera or video but for normal parades it isn't a problem.

Believe me, you don't want to be at MK on Christmas day. We had to take the bus to MK on Christmas and then hop the monorail to GF for our ADR at 1900 Park Fare. The crowd trying to get in to MK was HUGE and there were probably 10 times that many already on the inside.
