Elsa's Castle lighting begins tomorrow @ 6:15.

Disney Parks Blog just posted this shot from last year with a great bunting view...

I like the new look. I always hated out the bunting blocked the view of the castle.

Honestly folks, they had no choice... the parade floats were just too high.

I agree..I actually really like that.

So do I. It's a cleaner look and allows an unobstructed view of the castle. When the castle is lit, it will look beautiful I am sure.

First people were complaining about wanting a new parade because the old ones were, well, old. Now they complain about not having the bunting. Sometimes I feel like no matter what Disney does, people will complain. They can't win. You can't make all the people happy all the time. Personally, the new parade and floats are well worth the loss of some bunting that wasn't, in my own opinion, all that "special". It was bunting.

I didn't mind at all because if you wanted a full view of the castle, you got that farther down Main Street. I loved the garland and will miss it. They still have it at DL, but it's a little wimpier.

I always found it ruined "the reveal". Ah well. To each his own.

I prefer the bunting, but I understand why they can't be used. These are nice.

While the replacement isn't as pretty as the bunting, IMO, I do enjoy..and frankly, am suprised, by the the wreaths.

Not as pretty as the garland strung all across, but not a bad substitute. I'm glad I got to see the garland last year.

Meh, not the biggest fan of it. But that's probably because the bunting across Main Street were my favorite decorations inside the parks. The wreathes aren't that bad, but the white branches/arms that they are on are hideous, IMO.

I miss the garland, but I don't miss the wires strung across Main Street. The new wreaths are a decent substitute and will allow the floats to pass. I hope someone posts a picture of them at night, I am hoping they have lights on them which makes them look good after dark. Change can be hard.

Thanks for posting. I'm not crazy over the wreaths but at least my curiosity is satisfied. ETA: It isn't so much the wreaths themselves I don't care for, but the bracket arches holding them up. They remind me of something that would be on a 1980's era wedding cake.

I wasn't all that impressed with the photos from WDW Magic, but this one that came through my Twitter feed does the wreaths more justice. I think it looks nice.

It does look better from further away. Still not crazy over them but it won't ruin my trip or anything.

I really like the new look. I always wondered why Disney would block the castle with the garland.

I'm not getting the blocking the castle arguments...it made the park really themed out for Christmas and gave you that old school feeling of Christmas I was really excited to get s picture with the bunting. Oh well, I'm still going to get fantastic photos.
