Christmas bunting across Main Street

Thanks, got to love Photoshop. I think this is probably pretty close to reality, maybe a hair bright... At least its not yellow and dismal which was certainly incorrect. Mainstreet is brighter than the original pic for sure though.

Still prefer the bunting. The wreaths barely stand out at all and now I'm not sure why they bothered. At the very least they could've wrapped the steel arms.

I was one of the doubters at first but I did some searching on Instagram and some of the pictures people have posted are actually stunning with the wreaths/Main Street. It actually does look so festive esp with the snow fall. I think a few of the pictures we've seen on this thread of it made us maybe question it because imo it did look sortve plain Jane not so festive but after looking into it more and seeing more photos (at night, lit up, clear view of the castle, buildings lit up, snow falling) it actually looks awesome. I wish I could post the one picture that caught my eye. So all in all I think we will all grow to enjoy the new decor :)

I agree. The more I am seeing pictures and videos of it, the more it is growing on me. It really is beautiful and I am starting to really like the new look.

I can't add to the discussion but.........

thanks for sharing pics (past and current). I am getting very exited for my upcoming trip!

Old news, but stopped down this weekend.

I'm OK with either.

I still say it'd be nicer if they swapped the bell and wreath locations on those bars.

And wrapped the bars...

I'm stealing that photo angle though. ;)

Not crazy about the 'arms' and I think the bells would be prettier/stand out more if they were brass-colored vs. white.

I prefer the garland, reminds me of small town USA ... or even DC back in the day. Haven't been to WDW during C*mas in more than a decade, but wouldn't it be cool if they had special Christmas window displays like department stores did back in the 40's and 50's with the moving figures? I loved going 'downtown' (Wash., DC) to F Street and seeing the window displays at Hecht's, Woodies, etc.

I just saw a video on this yesterday in fact! They have made "arches" down both sidewalks so that the garland is strung over them and high. They aren't putting it across the street anymore because of the floats, but also because they didn't want to block the view of the castle.
