Christmas bunting across Main Street

I wasn't all that impressed with the photos from WDW Magic, but this one that came through my Twitter feed does the wreaths more justice. I think it looks nice.

Hmm, where's the flagpole? The only time I remember it being moved was the few days around the parade taping.

Here's wdwmagic's photo. I thought the wreaths would stand out a little more:

I hope they can find a way to make it work!! This year will be my first trip at Christmastime, and I was excited to see the bunting with my own eyes.

Definitely elegant but I also thought they would stand out more, I feel like the Christmas lights are so dim or non existent this year? It's still pretty but I don't get as much as a festive feel as in the past. Still nice though, better than nothing.

I haven't seen either one in person yet, but I really like how the wreaths look in the pictures I've seen. I can't wait to see them in person in December 2015! :)

Hm, it feels really yellow - I wonder if the white balance is off or if it's supposed to be that warm.

Aw, I LOVE the main street bunting! But I always thought that the bunting didn't go up until after the Christmas parade taping, as not to interfere with the cameras and such. We usually come mid-December so it's always up when we get there . . . .

The white balance and color off, not that yellow... I've got it corrected but don't know how to post it:)

They put the wreaths and the garlands up with all the other decorations. They would take them down for a few days for the parade filming, and then put them back up after the taping was done. The tree was the only thing that didn't go up at all until after the parade filming.

The photo makes them look dark because the castle is so bright. The best time to take these types of photos is the first 30 minutes after sunset when the sky still has a bit of color in it. The lights would be more balanced then.

I like this better, especially the view at night. Looks a lot "cleaner" and nothing blocking the gorgeous castle.
