Christmas breakfast, whatcha making?

wouldn't be Christmas morning without it..make ahead the night before, pop in the oven..with fresh orange juice and hot cocoa..mmmm

We are making the French Toast Loaf too. I did a trial run this past week and this recipe was awesome! I will be serving it with sausage, juice, coffee and cocoa.

We usually have eggs, bacon & Hawaiian bread french toast. This year I have changed it alittle thanks to those Pillsbury Grand Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls. So it's eggs, bacon, hash browns (for me and DH, kids don't like them :confused3 ) and the cinnamon rolls

Every year, my father makes Eggs "Bubba"dict, which is the same as eggs benadict, but his name is Bubba, so we call it "Bubba"dict. We also have bacon.

Mike and I celebrated Christmas today and we did our usual Saturday morning breakfast which was delicious: ham and swiss cheese croissants with OJ.

I really like the sounds of some of the breakfasts posted on here. Lobster and asparagus quiche, breakfast pie, French toast loaf. I saw the recipe posted for the pie so I will definitely be trying that one weekend. :)

Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. My DH's family always had them at Christmas, so we have them now. My family tradition is banana splits on Christmas eve, so we adopted that tradition from my side. :)

Its tradition in our house to have the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls for Christmas breakfast too! Also will make sausauge/egg/cheese biscuits and bagels (for my vegatarian sister). Breakfast is more of a buffet style. Eat what'cha want, when ya want.

The tradition in my house is a late breakfast/early lunch of BLT's.

This year dinner isn't until almost 6 (we've got family flying in) so I'm making French Toast for our breakfast. I found a recipe to make the FT look like Christmas trees and I'm going to do that. You layer three half slices of ft (cut on a diagonal) over 2 slices of link sausage (that makes the tree trunk) and use a slice from a star fruit for the star. If you like you can sprinkle green sugar on the FT to make it more festive looking. Merry Christmas!

I was making a breakfast casserole, but I think I changed my mind! My family loves french toast, but it sounded too "normal" to me. This will change it up! They'll think I've lost my mind, (my youngest is 12) but they'll still love it. I'll have to do double thick trees for my boys!

Every year I make sausage cheese balls and hasbrown casserole. I will also make a pot of mulled wine:goodvibes . DS will drink Dr Pepper with his breakfast!:rotfl: Oh well, it's Christmas!

We're having my parents and sister at our new house for breakfast Christmas morning. We haven't moved in yet but have a tree up, a couch and a folding table and chairs. DH will be making eggs, bacon, english muffins, toast, pancakes.

sausage with gravy. My DS thinks it's a gourmet meal. "Mom, how did you come up with this recipe." He doesn't get that it's cheap, farm food. :goodvibes

We're having Williams and Sonoma croissants and cinnamon rolls.

We're having Ikea cinnamon rolls, YUM (if they last until xmas LOL) !, Eggs, pancakes and bacon :)

My sister bakes for weeks before Christmas. The night before she lays out a buffet of cookies, sweet breads, candies, home chex mix, and various other treats. We start snacking as we open presents in the morning and keep snacking all day until dinner. It wrecks havoc with my diet but it's only one day!

Chef daddy (he even went to school for it lol) will make Eggs Benedict, Home Fries, Bacon, Toast, Pancakes (with gluten and gluten-free), and then orange juice.

Dinner is shrimp cocktail, steak, and lobster.
