Christmas breakfast, whatcha making?

I do an overnight dish as well. Sliced Challah bread spread with apricot jam, overlap in a baking dish. Mix 3 cups half and half, 4 eggs, 4 egg yolks, 1 tsp. ground cardamom, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. salt. Pour over bread. Chill overnight in fridge. Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes. Serve with warm maple syrup :)

hmmmm, hash browns, bacon, sausage links, cinnamon rolls, sliced oranges and eggs. I was going to make a big batch of scrambled but dd wants over easy so thats what we will have.

I am making Sameyeyam's casserole....We are also having cinnamon rolls, hot chocolate and coffee.

I found this recipe last year on allrecipes, and now I think it will become a Christmas morning favorite with my crew. I have it in the oven right now as a matter of fact.:rotfl: And SO easy to make too.;)

Kim

1 pound Sausage (choose your intensity;) I use regular)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
4 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Crumble and cook sausage in medium skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain.
Line bottom of greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish with crescent roll dough, firmly pressing perforations to seal. Sprinkle with sausage and cheese. Combine remaining ingredients in medium bowl until blended; pour over sausage.
Bake 15 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into squares; serve hot. Refrigerate leftovers.

Merry Christmas Everyone! Just checking in to say that the French Toast Loaf turned out YUMMY!:thumbsup2
