I do an overnight dish as well. Sliced Challah bread spread with apricot jam, overlap in a baking dish. Mix 3 cups half and half, 4 eggs, 4 egg yolks, 1 tsp. ground cardamom, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. salt. Pour over bread. Chill overnight in fridge. Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes. Serve with warm maple syrup 

And SO easy to make too.
