Christmas at the Fort???

Christmas veteran here but our first trip to the Fort.
Christmas isn't that bad if you know how to work the parks. Never go to MK on Christmas day, that's my best advice.

My question is should we decorate our site or not? I have no idea where to start!

This is our first time staying at the fort too. We will be there Dec 23rd-Jan 1st. I am not expecting to do a lot at the parks during that time. I know it will be very crowded and most likely will reach max capacity. We just want to get away and have time as a family. And this is really the only way we can. DH only has off for vacation during this time. We are going to decorate our site. I even printed out the rules for the decorations and have it in my trip planning book. We are really excited and cant wait.

We were booked for the 3rd week of Oct until yesterday. Something made me think to check the kids school calendar. GLAD I DID!! They moved the dates to the 2nd week of Oct. So, yesterday I called and moved the trip up a week. Then I realized it would put me in to the window to book dining. Well, that of course made me check the proposed hours at the parks those days. I noticed Test Track will be closed til Nov 30?? I told me kids and of course my oldest was very upset!! LOL That's one of his favorite rides. That made me think maybe of just scrapping this year. The kids wanted to wait anyway. Then I thought I could suprise them on Christmas day with a 'we are going to Disney tomorrow!' and stay Dec 26th-maybe the 5th of Jan. I don't mind crowds.... but still weary. The funny thing is though, It doesn't matter when I plan, I will always find a post where someone is complaining about the crowds. We've been over Thanksgiving and during several other supposed super crowded times of the year and we were just fine! I think now, I'm more concerned with no discounts and freezing weather!!
