Christmas at Disney

I'm going down over Christmas 2008 from the 19th to the 26th. I heard that you can order a decorated tree for your room. Does anybody know the costs or where to check, and what kind of other things they will do to make it a home away from home at Christmas?

Yes...I've heard that as well (I think its a bit pricey from somewhere like WDW Florist ....but, the 2 occasions I've been down there at Xmas the majority of folk just pick one up themselves from Super-Walmart (they are really cheap), then either drive it back (if they have a car).or get a taxi. They just leave them when they go home.

i bought a mini fake one at micheals on boxing day. should fit in my christmas luggage bag. the one i am bringing that will only hold christmas presents.

We thought about taking gifts down with us as well but decided against because it took up way too much space. The kids (and the old ones )are at an age where its not a big deal to open a few gifts before we go down.
For us,the big Xmas gift....is just being there !

We are planning (well make that I AM planning LOL) to be there from the 19-26 as well!! Haven't decided the details yet but I am looking all over!

We are going to be down there from the 18th to the 28th and are doing the same thing. We will open presents before we go and they get to open up their Santa gifts when we get home. We are not doing the tree in our room as we will be on the Wonder on Christmas Day!
