Christmas all year long!

Now I know that there are weeks behind it...but look at my ticker. It reads "one month"

:eek: I can't believe we are almost down to a "I can see the trip coming" countdown. But....didn't I just hit double digits?

Oh my!!! Between other people getting back from their trips and others leaving for theirs and now the ticker being ever so nice as to use a "one month" remark...I am starting to get excited!!!! :woohoo:

:cool1::cool1::banana::banana::cool1::cool1::yay::yay::yay:

Hey...it says "one month" and that is what counts! Those weeks after that will start to disappear quickly, just wait and see.

You should be getting excited.

Ann, once you hit those double digits, time really just flies by. You'll see those weeks after the one month mark will just melt away! ;)

BTW, you never sent me a snail mail for a prize in my game. No worries if you don't want to... just didn't know if you missed that. You came in 3rd place behind Kathy and Betsy. (only beat Karin by a few points and thus pushed her to 4th.) Just send me a pm :goodvibes

Wow! Disney has really outdone itself with the sticker price!!!!!!!! And you can print it yourself - how nice of them! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay for being under sixty days! Can you believe it? And what a great prize from Disney! :rotfl: Though I have to admit that whenever they send me anything at all, my heart races just a bit as I think I am either about to be awarded a prize, or at the very least given a PIN code! :lmao:

No problemo. I don't need a prize. But watch my PTR (if I ever decide to update it again). I'm thinking I might send something (postcards, STICKERS, perhaps?) from WDW when I go. So I might be asking for your snail mail address during your post-Disney Depression period. Wait - or are you there the same time as we are? I am getting so confused.

Also, prayers for Zoe tomorrow - she's still having her procedure, right?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MY PRIZE, ANN!!!!

When I got home today, Tom told me that there was a package waiting for me ..... couldn't remember what I had ordered and then .........

I read your name!
Thank you again, for your wonderful gift! I will post photos of it on my thread!

I know, right? Course, the code for the five points came in an email today. :woohoo: 5 points!!! :rotfl2:

I got the code for the 5 points and I did use it...but I didn't even check to see if the sticker came through in the email. What a weird prize...yes...quite a prize..something I can print out. Can't we just go to disneyjr.com and print things?

Yes, my heart races too. Even today when the email with the code for the 5 points came for a brief (very brief) moment I wondered if the previous email was wrong and I was in fact a big winner.

Well, if you change your mind.... I would be happy to send you something. And...we will be at WDW the same time!!! In fact, I think we head home the same day. (12/22??)

thank you for prayers for Zoe. I will post an update regarding today, but...prayers must have worked. :goodvibes

I hope it came okay. I know it is kinda cheesy...but I wanted to send something. :goodvibes

let me see if I can just retell the day without making this too long...

up at 4:30 am

Out the door by 5:30am

Picked up Starbucks by 5:35am

made great time and freeway signs read "25 minutes to Seattle" before I missed my exit from one hwy onto the main freeway north. (not like me... I know my exit/entrance...traffic was getting congested and just at the second I could merge Zoe started crying causing me to be distracted...and poof I missed my opportunity)

drove around for 30 minutes trying to wind my way through south Seattle before finding an entrance back onto the freeway heading North (Childrens is in North Seattle)

Arrived 15 minutes late for check in at 7:00am. (check in was set for 6:45)

Zoe was brought back to the surgery center at approximately 7:30. (OR time was scheduled for 8am)

Unlike many other times, they allowed me to "suit up" and go into the OR with Zoe at approximately 8am so that I could be with her when she was put under.

With little hassle, she fell asleep and I was brought back out to the lobby where I waited.

and waited

and waited.

For a procedure scheduled to take 15 minutes, I began to wonder if something was wrong at about 9am.

9am I went to the surgery center desk and inquired about Zoe only to be told she was JUST about done.

9:15am I was called back to talk to the doctors to hear how it went.

Other than having a hard time getting past the scar tissue (and apparently getting an iv in since she has like 3 or 4 sites where they poked her) all went well and everything looks great.

9:30am I got to go back to see her. She arrived in a lot of pain since she was refusing any meds. Her nurse in this phase of recovery was smart and got something to put in her iv (a little morphine and she was a much happier camper)

11am we were able to cap the tubes that would remain it for the weekend and prepare to go home.

A slight detour led us to lunch first at approximately noon.

Zoe ate more than I did at a place called Zoopa. Zoopa is a buffet that offers various pasta, salads, soups, breads and such....

After Zoopa we went to the Disney store to return the Belle dress. With the credit for the dress, I repurchased it and the matching light up shoes with a total out of pocket of 2 whole cents.

While at the Disney store we were able to participate in Story time. I must say this had me completely smiling. The cm (who LOVES Disney and is truly one of those enthusiastic "magical" cms who should never think of doing anything else but work for Disney) was so wonderful. His performance and interaction with Zoe was nothing less than you would expect from Disney. The giant screen that was the "book" was so very fun. Zoe was able to "help" turn the pages by sliding her hand along the screen. What a nice way to end our day!!!

So there you have it... back at home all is well. (other than I suspect Steve may end up in the ER tonight...but that is an entirely other LONG story) Zoe will have her tubes in until Tuesday. The doc "taught" me how to deflate the balloon in the folley so we will not have to make a return trip as I will do it. I am just not sure if I want to send her to school with all of this in place or not....

thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes!!!

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: for Zoe coming through her surgery fine with no complications and being hungry right after to boot!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: So happy to hear that everything went OK with Zoe. And several of these, too :hug::hug:. No doubt, you've had an exhausting day. Hope everything is OK with DH, too.

:thumbsup2So glad that Zoe's day went better then your morning trying to get there! And I am totally amazed of having that done and then all she did this afternoon! I bet she loved the shoes, and wahoo on total out of pocket difference 2 cents!

:scared1:Hope all is okay with Steve tonight. Just tell him you have had enough of hospitals today and he has no choice but be better! Does that work?

Thank-You-Dumbo.gif

I got my package today! What cleaver and sweet little gifts. I am so excited about one of them...it is going into my backpack or whatever I decide to carry in the parks so I can start my TR compliments of you!
