Christmas all year long!

The pictures on ebay and the pictures I tried to take do not do it justice. It has a lot of intricate detailing on it.

Here is the dress as a whole

I forgot to take a picture of the shoes. However, think "Dorothy ruby red slippers" and you have it. I think I did really well getting it all..but the slippers and dress just are too big.

Wednesday, 12/14 - day 6

I have really been hoping that ridemax would have December dates available before I got to into planning all these dates, however when I wrote to them to see why they are not up yet I was told it would probably be 10/15 when they are released. So given that I still have 9 days to plan and about 9 weeks until we leave I best get to it.

This day will be our first day in

images

I have really debated how to handle this morning. One minute I want a big breakfast and then the next I want to ensure that we can ride on TSM. I think when it really comes down to it, paying out of pocket for Mickey waffles at WCC and forgoing TSM this day isn’t worth it. We can go to Roaring Forks and pick up a quick breakfast, meaning I will be canceling our ADR at WCC.

So we will start our day early here and pay out of pocket

images

Where maybe I might eat this?

images

Since the park opens at 9am we will want to get to the buss stop by 8:30am. Once inside the park, we will quickly make our way to

DS_TSM_fastpass_warneke.jpg

I realize we most likely will not be there by rope drop, but I think we will get there early enough to get some fast passes.

After we get those must needed fast passes, we will try and get these things done before lunch.

images

Steve has not gone on this ride so this is a must do for us.

images

Zoe really liked this last year and I am hoping she will be as enthralled this year so that she can bring that “kid” out in Alex.

IMG_4143.JPG

Not my favorite, but a guy thing so we will brave it for Steve and Alex.

images

I am not sure why, but this is actually one of my favorite attractions in DHS.

and finally back by this guy to use our fast passes

images

Next, it will be time for lunch. My favorite cs in a park is located here so we will eat at

images

where I will have to get a meal like this

images

Zoe and I are likely to split while Steve and Alex each get something. This will cost us 3 cs credits(33 remain)
After lunch we will probably do a bit of shopping and see

images

After this, we will go back to the hotel for a break. This will be a good time to explore some of the resort.

Once rested, we will head to DTD for dinner. Dinner will be at

images

I am undecided what I will eat.

Will it be

downsized_0318001857a-762528.jpg

or possibly (thanks to Karin for showing the picture of hers) this?

images

4 cs credits will be used (29 remain)

After dinner, we will make our way back to DHS. Since the bus will not run directly to the park from DTD we will have to take a bus to another resort. I suspect that YC or BC would be our best bet. If we have some time, we might even explore which ever one we may have missed the day before.

Then a quick bus ride and we will be back to DHS. Where first thing we will want to do is see

osborne-family-spectacle-of-dancing-lights.jpg

The park is only open till 8pm, so we will try and fit a couple more things in before heading back to our resort.

Maybe we can see

images

It has been a long time since we have seen that, so I think it will be something we will not want to miss this trip.

and

images

The only time I have seen this was when Kira, Zoe and I went in 2009. It was during it’s “soft opening” so it wasn’t “officially” open yet. I think it might be a nice way to finish off the nigt, assuming that the last show doesn’t conflict with our evening plans.

As we leave the park there will be one more thing to do and that is to grab a snack. However, what warm snack could call to us at 8pm? My guess/hope will be we can pick something up here
images

However, it has never been open in all the times I have went. I am sure that we will be able to find a pretzel somewhere. If not, I guess we will just stop in at Roaring Forks on our way back into WL.

This will use 4 snack credits (30 will remain)

We should be back to our room well before midnight. This will be good since we have to be up early the next day.

Oh, my gosh, I LOVE that dress!!!!! Well, since it does not fit yet ...... you need to tell Steve that you HAVE TO take that "other" trip! :rotfl2:

Love your plans! We never made it to WL for breakfast as much as I would have loved the waffles! :sad2:

And as for WPE ...... how about you find someone to share with. One orders the pizza, the other the salmon, and Bob's your uncle, as my aunt says! :lmao:

Day 6 sounds wonderful! And the dress is gorgeous!!! I love the details and definitely you will have to take her back to let her wear that dress!! :goodvibes

I wish they had that dress in adult sizes! I'd totally wear it!

I want to go to Roaring Forks for that Chocolate Lovers Waffle and the one with strawberrys and orange whipped cream. I don't think the whipped cream is orange, but like flavored with orange.

Not much longer now!

That dress is so pretty! I agree, if it doesn't fit this year you will just have to go again next year! Oh well! The day at DHS sounds great! The Osborne lights are so pretty to see in person!

That is an awesome idea regarding WPE, but... i think the guys are gonna want that bacon wrapped thing...or a sandwich. So...I will have to choose.

Thanks! I keep hoping I was wrong and that in 2 months it will fit her perfectly. Oh well... whats the worst? I have to go back? :rotfl2:

OH yes, !!! I think I would like the one with strawberries and orange whipped cream more. YUM

yep, getting closer and closer... :thumbsup2

I am hoping that the lights will be pretty to see in person and not just overwhelming. It will definitely be an experience!!!

I  the dress! Sounds like Steve knows you a little to well...maybe you will get a great bounce back offer!

Love the day at DHS. I can't wait to see the Osborne Lights either! One of our favorite things to do around Christmas is to go and look at the lights people put up. There is the most amazing tree down from my school...a mulberry that is covered in tens of thousands of lights...it takes my breath way...I can't imagine what Osborne is going to do!

Wolfgang's looks so yummy...now where do I fit that into the trip? :rotfl2:

It has been a while since I did one of these, but... Zoe went to see her doctor today.

She goes back into the OR next Friday for a brief procedure. Hopefully, nothing will go wrong and it will done in about 15 minutes. There is a risk that they can't do this easy peasy procedure or that they cause more damage while attempting and then she might end up in the hospital again. I have faith though it will be fine...in and out and back home same day. :goodvibes Still...any prayers would be appreciated.

So we also stopped again today at the new Disney store. (I mainly was hoping to get my DV special pin  but they were still out) Anyway, picked Zoe up a dress...she really likes Belle...so Belle it was. I think I am done with dresses now. This gives her 3 she can take to the park. Hmmm... course, she doesn't have a Tiana dress...and that is one I really like. :rolleyes1

And... on the topic of princess dresses...

Have any of you seen the limited edition Rupunzel dress? They had two in the store today. They are AMAZING  Course, I am not about to pay $150 for it... but do you know on ebay how much people are paying???? Buy it now prices are TWICE that...and there is one that has 16 bids on it for $200.

Still, beautiful dress...but wow. But I guess when 2000 were made, it allows them to be extra special (and yes, spendy)

Oh...and one last post...

3 weeks until Alex's bday

then

4 weeks until Thanksgiving

and then just

2

Weeks till we leave!!!! :woohoo:

I didn't realize that thanksgiving was only a couple weeks before we leave. That is crazy!!! Mild panic attack as I realize just how little time I now have to get everything done. :rotfl2:

Hi

We got back last week and I have a lot of catching up to do on the Dis.

First, wanted to let you know that we're sending prayers that everything goes smoothly for Zoe.

Second, LOVE the dress! It is sooooo cute!

Trip sounds great so far. We loved WL when we stayed there last year.

:cheer2:Sending happy thoughts and prayers for Zoe and YOU!!!

I am thinking that I might need to buy on of those Tangled dresses and put it on ebay myself...think about it, you could buy 2 dresses and sell one on ebay and pay for the other dress! :rolleyes1

Our closest Disney store is 2 hours away...hmmm, thinking I just want to go and find some happy! I never really find anything to buy now that the kids are older, surely I could find something I need for my trip, hmmm I might have to do that :rotfl2:...but I am looking forward to visiting at DTD!

I'll keep Zoe in my thoughts, does thinking of her while being at Disney have extra power? The bacon wrapped meatloaf is so amazingly good!!!!!!!!!!!!

Annmarie... I pray that this procedure that Zoe will be going through will be a quick and easy one for her and that she will be able to come home on the same day. Your poor Zoe has been through a lot of stuff and my heart goes out to her..

On a positive note I only have 11 weeks left until we arrive so that means your time is even shorter then mine.. Well we are not driving anymore my father went ahead and bought us plane tickets so now i don't have to drive with family members picking on each others driving for 18 hrs.

Ann, I'm trying to catch up (so hard to do when gone for two weeks). I love the dress, and the plans for each day thus far sound terrific.

Definitely add Zoe to my prayers! It is going to be a same day procedure and go home - tell them there's no other alternative. :goodvibes

The Rapunzel dresses are very pretty! I didn't realize it was a limited number but that would explain the cost. I'm hoping to visit the disney store that's about an hour from me someday soon!

On a side note... the mail arrived on Friday! And I just have to tell you a thousand times over THANK YOU! I will get pics taken and posted - hopefully tomorrow - but I cannot wait to use my new DIS tag on our trip! :thumbsup2 And I hope I'm not blowing it for anyone else so I will stop talking about it right now. But it is definitely one of the highlights, probably the headliner, that made my weekend so much better! You are a very thoughtful, creative and generous person!

Thanks so much for the prayers. I am sure it will be fine...but prayers are always helpful. :goodvibes

I think your TR helped to make me want to stay at WL. Don't get me wrong, I still have days of "is it the right choice" but I think we are going to like it...especially during the holidays.

And...on the dress... I wish it fit her for this trip. It is so much nicer than the dress I just got her at the Disney store. oh well... another trip.

:cheer2:Sending happy thoughts and prayers for Zoe and YOU!!!

The thought crossed my mind on the dress. Selling one would cover the cost of the one I would keep... Oh well, they are probably gone now.

Thank you for the prayers! I just keep wishing that this could be behind us. Just when I think "normal" has set in...something changes.

I'll keep Zoe in my thoughts, does thinking of her while being at Disney have extra power? The bacon wrapped meatloaf is so amazingly good!!!!!!!!!!!!

:rotfl: I think it might have extra power. ;) I am sure that Alex or Steve will order the bacon wrapped meatloaf and I will give it a try... so I will have to choose between the pizza and salmon. Hmmm... today I would choose the pizza.

thank you so much for your kind words! Zoe is a trooper and she kinds just goes with it. Any other kid, I think would be combative at this point. Not Zoe...

And...:woohoo: on getting plane tickets. 18 hours would be a bit much to have my family packed together in a car... so I know I would be please as punch to not have to drive!

Ann, I'm trying to catch up (so hard to do when gone for two weeks). I love the dress, and the plans for each day thus far sound terrific.

:goodvibes Thanks! No worries on catching up... I don't think you missed much.

Definitely add Zoe to my prayers! It is going to be a same day procedure and go home - tell them there's no other alternative. :goodvibes

Yes, it WILL be a day procedure. Either way though...it has to happen.

I am so glad you got your prize. (nothing broke, right?) I just wanted to send little something.... hopefully nothing was too silly. I have only sent out a total of 4 packages....Karin's will take a while to get to her. (maybe another week ). Tammie and Melinda should get theirs mid week next week. So things will trickle out to people... but you were the first to send me your address, so you were first to get your package. :goodvibes

Saying a little prayer for Zoe. I have faith she will do great and be home and back to herself in no time!
