Christmas all year long!

It has been a while since I did one of these, but... Zoe went to see her doctor today.

She goes back into the OR next Friday for a brief procedure. Hopefully, nothing will go wrong and it will done in about 15 minutes. There is a risk that they can't do this easy peasy procedure or that they cause more damage while attempting and then she might end up in the hospital again. I have faith though it will be fine...in and out and back home same day. :goodvibes Still...any prayers would be appreciated.

So we also stopped again today at the new Disney store. (I mainly was hoping to get my DV special pin  but they were still out) Anyway, picked Zoe up a dress...she really likes Belle...so Belle it was. I think I am done with dresses now. This gives her 3 she can take to the park. Hmmm... course, she doesn't have a Tiana dress...and that is one I really like. :rolleyes1

Definitely sending happy thoughts your and Zoe's way! And little girls can never have too many princess dresses.... I'm waiting until the afternoon Halloween sales. Lex already has tinkerbell and Alice, but I want to get some of the others for her so she already has them when we get to the parks.

Oh...and one last post...

3 weeks until Alex's bday

then

4 weeks until Thanksgiving

and then just

2

Weeks till we leave!!!! :woohoo:

I didn't realize that thanksgiving was only a couple weeks before we leave. That is crazy!!! Mild panic attack as I realize just how little time I now have to get everything done. :rotfl2:

Well...when you put it like that! :scared1: I just know that the sooner your trip comes, the sooner mine will, too. :lmao: Sorry, is that horrible of me?

Hope Zoe is doing OK and praying that procedure goes well. Love the dresses and all the plans.

First let me tell you that I have kept you (and your test results) and Zoe both in my prayers with the rest of your family to be more supportive of you guys! So I hope that I hear lots of great news while reading!!!!
I still really like that Alice dress because it looks like real fabric instead of the costume material! cotton might be more comfortable to wear?
I am sorry about wok getting crushed into one 25 hour day? I am hoping that as I read along that changes too!
YAY for double digits! I was doing a happy dance, just not on here an not on facebook!
I am sorry for all of the doctor trouble that's going on with you and Zoe! I hate that doctors try to skirt around things too! It just seems odd that they wouldn't want you to prep for the worst and hope for the best!
Well Zach has to be home by the time that I am reading, I am sure that your happy to have everyone around! And Congrats to Alex for the K12! WOW is Alex lucky though- a berry picking outting for a PE credit and then to have a homemade pie with them later? Lucky duck he is!
Day 3 sounds fun! I want to add EOS in too somewhere! I hear so many great reviews! I am rethinking any TS at this point because I like the sound of eating when I want to and not when my reservation tells me to! But I am not sure if I will switch that because I also like the idea of a break! I like that the boys have a special thing to do at the same time as the girls do! That way they don't get bored and they have some bonding time just like you and Zoe!
I am very happy that you amde it through the biopsies all at once instead of having to go back! Not sure I would if it hurt!
UGH.... I missed that piate costume..... Damien got a nice one, but I couldn't find the Jack Sparrow he wanted in his size (they only had adult)! But it's okay and comes with these fake boots!
That game pic of you, Kira, Zoe and your mom is really nice!
I don't think that you should feel bad about the hospital, but I probably would too. If you wanted to really feel better maybe donate a little money in Zoe's name?
Oh that is really great news for you! I know that in 6 months we may be ending our TR's, but I will keep praying that everything stays normal and that the first one just had an error! That was really great to hear, I hope that as I read 10 more pages I learn that Zoe is well also!
That is a really pretty Cinderella? dress! And the sleeves don't look too "itchy" for her! Oh she wil look so pretty in them! And sometimes rubbing on some clear seltzer will help with stains although I am not sure if they have to be new stains or not?
Happy late anniversary! It sounds nice that you got to go out without the kids and just relax, but it would have been nicer to eat together! Glad you had a good time anyway!
No it's not bad of you to want to ride with Betsy and not the men--- sometimes they are just too much!
Zach is handsome in his full uniform!
Oh man, I missed the tinkering ability!
Have you ever tried those instant coffee packs? They come in single serve and you can just ask for hot water? That might help for the mugs!
I am so low on the games points! I am sorry... I am not good at getting on first!
As for Zoe, really? They can't just say "Zoe let's go potty" 2 times a day? That's kinda silly! But I am glad that the nurse finally stepped up and tried to help her for you! I hope that this becomes an everyday occurance for your sake! Oh happy 21st birthday Kira!!!!
You never know with the growing of little kids.... Damien used to never grow and this year alone he's shot up a foot and gained and lost lots of weight! But it would be nice to "need" to take another trip- even if just a tiny one! But that dress is really pretty! And it looks like someonehand-made it with all of that detail or no? I hope that the surgery goes well with her! I'll keep praying!

Okay all done for now, I am all caught up and ready for the next set of stuff! I enjoyed your games and although I didn't really get any, the pictures were fun to look at!

Prayers and Pixie dust for sweet little Zoe and Mama too!

Catching up on my threads and I loved the way you "count down" to your trip ........ you'll see time will just fly by!

Annmarie

remind on what time your flight leaves MCO on the 22nd.. We arrive at 12:25pm on the 22nd so that should put me at VWL by 1 or 1:30 do you think you will still be around the lodge at that time so this way we can meet for a few minutes and so I can meet your wonderful Zoe. If not thats fine maybe we could meet another time maybe when I go back up to the beautiful PNW

Saying a little prayer for Zoe. I have faith she will do great and be home and back to herself in no time!

:goodvibes Thank you.

Definitely sending happy thoughts your and Zoe's way! And little girls can never have too many princess dresses.... I'm waiting until the afternoon Halloween sales. Lex already has tinkerbell and Alice, but I want to get some of the others for her so she already has them when we get to the parks.

Thank you.

And on the dresses... I too was thinking Halloween would be a good time to buy some. I stopped at Goodwill today and found another nice princess costume. Course, it wasnt a disney princess so I didn't bother. It was a deep blue and gold...but in very good shape. It was tempting. I know that they are on sale at the Disney store now...and I did get Zoe the Belle one...and now it has gone on sale more. :headache:

Well...when you put it like that! :scared1: I just know that the sooner your trip comes, the sooner mine will, too. :lmao: Sorry, is that horrible of me?

Hope Zoe is doing OK and praying that procedure goes well. Love the dresses and all the plans.

Not bad of you at all! Your trip will be here very soon!

And thank you for the prayers. :goodvibes

First let me tell you that I have kept you (and your test results) and Zoe both in my prayers with the rest of your family to be more supportive of you guys! So I hope that I hear lots of great news while reading!!!!

This means a lot to me, so thank you!
I still really like that Alice dress because it looks like real fabric instead of the costume material! cotton might be more comfortable to wear?
Ya know... I have come to really like the dress just by itself. it is soft but really well made. It will be nice and comfy (and warm) should the day require it.

I am sorry about wok getting crushed into one 25 hour day? I am hoping that as I read along that changes too!

It is actually working out. They are allowing us to go into a store multiple times...so in the end...other than on Wednessday where I HAVE to hit all 5 stores it is an easier week than it used to be.

I am sorry for all of the doctor trouble that's going on with you and Zoe! I hate that doctors try to skirt around things too! It just seems odd that they wouldn't want you to prep for the worst and hope for the best!

I think they may have done it again. I know that they mentioned the risk of what could happen on friday...but they didn't go into detail of how we would handle it if a tear occurred while they attempt to stretch Zoe's belly button.

Well Zach has to be home by the time that I am reading, I am sure that your happy to have everyone around!

He is home and I am happy to have him around. He has grown into quite the young man. However, now if he would just get a job.

And Congrats to Alex for the K12! WOW is Alex lucky though- a berry picking outting for a PE credit and then to have a homemade pie with them later? Lucky duck he is!

He does much better this way. We have wondered if he suffers a tad bit of autism. (is there such a thing as a tad?) He actually shows signs of being quite bright, but he tends to "get lost" in his mind during class. He can get work done and move on when doing the online school thing. I would recommend K12 to anyone. It is a great program and offered around the country (just different public schools pick it up). As for PE and berry picking. :rotfl: Well, he technically didn't get credit that day...I guess if he logged it as a hike then it would count..but he didn't do any logging that day.

Day 3 sounds fun! I want to add EOS in too somewhere! I hear so many great reviews! I am rethinking any TS at this point because I like the sound of eating when I want to and not when my reservation tells me to! But I am not sure if I will switch that because I also like the idea of a break!

We like the break..and the food at the TS restaurants...it does get to be a drag when we have to schedule everything around when we eat.

I like that the boys have a special thing to do at the same time as the girls do! That way they don't get bored and they have some bonding time just like you and Zoe!

This is one of the things I am most looking forward to!

UGH.... I missed that pirate costume..... Damien got a nice one, but I couldn't find the Jack Sparrow he wanted in his size (they only had adult)! But it's okay and comes with these fake boots!

Darn.. I was hoping you saw it...:sad2:

That game pic of you, Kira, Zoe and your mom is really nice!

thank you!

I don't think that you should feel bad about the hospital, but I probably would too. If you wanted to really feel better maybe donate a little money in Zoe's name?

That is a good idea. I might do that once all the other medical bills are paid and the cost trip is behind us.

Oh that is really great news for you! I know that in 6 months we may be ending our TR's, but I will keep praying that everything stays normal and that the first one just had an error!

I hope so too. my fear is that the results were the one that was in error. I still feel "crampy" and wonder if something isn't wrong...

That was really great to hear, I hope that as I read 10 more pages I learn that Zoe is well also!

All in all, we are all doing quite well. :goodvibes

That is a really pretty Cinderella? dress! And the sleeves don't look too "itchy" for her! Oh she wil look so pretty in them! And sometimes rubbing on some clear seltzer will help with stains although I am not sure if they have to be new stains or not?

It wont be too itchy, you are right. I think this is one of the challenges with Zoe and dresses so this will work out well.

Happy late anniversary! It sounds nice that you got to go out without the kids and just relax, but it would have been nicer to eat together! Glad you had a good time anyway!

Thanks, it was a good time...despite the fact we didn't eat together. :rotfl:

No it's not bad of you to want to ride with Betsy and not the men--- sometimes they are just too much!

:rotfl: yes, sometimes they are. Besides...meeting Betsy will be a highlight for me!!!

Zach is handsome in his full uniform!

I think so too. :goodvibes

Have you ever tried those instant coffee packs? They come in single serve and you can just ask for hot water? That might help for the mugs!

I think I definitely need to get some of those. Not only for the trip, but for now. I think all my money goes to Disney and Starbucks. :rotfl:

I am so low on the games points! I am sorry... I am not good at getting on first!

No worries, even though you were not the top winner, I would still love to send you something. Just pm me your address.

As for Zoe, really? They can't just say "Zoe let's go potty" 2 times a day? That's kinda silly! But I am glad that the nurse finally stepped up and tried to help her for you! I hope that this becomes an everyday occurrence for your sake!

Today was another challenge. We will get it worked out though...but for now I am a tad irritated with the so called head of student resources.

Oh happy 21st birthday Kira!!!!

Thanks!!! She is happy to be 21.

She would have to grow several inches. Funny that the new dress I just got is the same size but fits. Both are Disney dresses. (the christmas one is a "Disney Direct") I wish it would fit...but maybe a plan for next year won't be so bad.

I hope that the surgery goes well with her! I'll keep praying!

thanks so much. :goodvibes

Prayers and Pixie dust for sweet little Zoe and Mama too!

remind on what time your flight leaves MCO on the 22nd..

Our flight is at like 5:30pm...so we would likely be there when you are arriving! :woohoo: We will have to pm our info to each other. Then maybe you can txt me when you are headed to WL (do you arrive there or the villas when checking in? ) In any case, I think we could plan on meeting right before we catch DME to the airport.

How cool is that for me... a dismeet on the way in...and one on the way out. :goodvibes

Just had to share... the dress I just bought Zoe from the Disney store went on sale...

and.....

the store has a 7 day price adjustment policy.

so...

I can bring in my receipt and get a refund!!!

:woohoo:

Remind me again when do you arrive at Disney this way I can make sure I PM my info to you before you leave on vacation. I will be pulling into WL hopefully by 1 or 1:30 we check in at the main lobby of WL. Yes we will have to PM our info to each other and I will text you when I am on my way into the lodge. Oh I sure do hope this works out for us. It would be so cool to have a dismeet when i'm coming in and your going out.. :cool1: :woohoo: :yay:

That is awesome! You are all about finding money-savers!

Excited about your dismeets! :woohoo:

:yay: for saving money on the dress (or getting some back!)

Are you in the "50's" now??? I think you might be! I should have checked before I started posting... :rotfl:

We fly out of Seattle on 12/9. We check into Pop that night and then into WL on 12/11. I will make sure and pm you my info when we get a bit closer to the time!!! :woohoo:

So which dress is this? I am lost....

:rotfl2: Sorry, I have gone a bit nuts with the dresses. I bought a new belle one last friday since the Christmas Belle won't fit her on this trip

That is awesome! You are all about finding money-savers!

Why yes, yes I am. ;)

:woohoo::woohoo::dance3::dance3::woohoo::woohoo: Love saving money!

I love saving money too...but (and here is what I didn't think about) It is only $10. By the time I would drive my beastly suburban up to the store and then home I will have spend that (and then some) in gas. Now... I am trying to get Steve to stop by on his way in or from work (he drives right past it.) He is reluctant though so I might just wait till friday and bring the entire dress up to "exchange" after Zoe's procedure(assuming all goes well)

Excited about your dismeets! :woohoo:

:yay: for saving money on the dress (or getting some back!)

Are you in the "50's" now??? I think you might be! I should have checked before I started posting... :rotfl:

Yup, in the 50's. I have 9 days to get a countdown from 50 calendar made for Zoe. At least, that has been my plan. I am considering not doing one though and just using the advent one that I got (like way back at the start of this PTR) It would count down 25 days...so maybe I might use that at the 25 day mark instead.

I don't' want to freak anyone out, but i was double checking park hours and found that one of my days has different hours than what I had previously noted. It was for AK and the hours are now longer so :woohoo:, but still worries me when I see park hours change.

Oh thanks for reminding me! I keep trying to remember to recheck my hours and show times.

Now I know that there are weeks behind it...but look at my ticker. It reads "one month"

:eek: I can't believe we are almost down to a "I can see the trip coming" countdown. But....didn't I just hit double digits?

Oh my!!! Between other people getting back from their trips and others leaving for theirs and now the ticker being ever so nice as to use a "one month" remark...I am starting to get excited!!!! :woohoo:
