Great news about the school nurse. Hopefully all will continue to get more smooth and routine for all of you!

First baby turned 21 today. We went out and about... You would have thought we were both 5 when we went to the new Disney store. Ended up at a bar for happy hour. It is one that my friends and I used to go to a lot for cheep eats. (not so much the drinking since none of my friends drink...and I don't if I am driving at all) So... menu has changed a bit and is not as cheep as it was a few years ago... but Kira ordered her first drink... a Caribbean Cosmo. Very yummy... we were more about the food though so that was the only drink she ordered. A diet coke for me... and we were done. They did bring her a sundae with a candle on it. How cute.

Thank you, Kathy. I think Kira had a nice birthday. Not your typical 21st bday...but nice nonetheless. I was teasing her all day about being an old woman. I swear just leaving her apartment is an ordeal. "do I have my keys" "do I have my phone" "did I remember to shut this door" "did I leave anything plugged in" I think it is my immaturity vs her maturity that causes that age gap to not seem as large as it actually is.


As for the nurse, yes... crossing my fingers. We have a meeting today.

Well, she had the drink.. I just had the diet coke since I was driving. It was a lot of fun though.

So Kathy was the "big" winner and she is on vacation right now so I will have to wait to get her prize out (don't have her addy yet) I will have the next package in the mail today. Only two people have given their addresses.... so my plan is just to put together prize packages as I get people to send to.

BTW, first person... I was told you should expect your package on friday...look out so your kiddos don't find it.

Thank you both so much. It was a nice time with Kira.

Days are going well here...kinda.. I am pretty tired and spent when it comes to the school stuff...but what can I do? Just keep swimming... Just keep swimming.... Yesterday was the official meeting to come up with a plan (because the previous 3 or so have not worked)...and today was our "training" sessions. The school nurse still can not cath Zoe. District nurse caused her to bleed. yes... just spent I tell ya. Anyway... tomorrow starts the school nurses leave so a sub is coming in. The district nurse is going to attempt to train her. Not sure how that will go. I have a long work day tomorrow but hope to stop in at the afternoon scheduled time. (yes, it has come down to Zoe having a set time cause it throws everyone too much to just go with the flow ) Thursday, the sub will be there and I hope to make it to all the times... and then friday, Zoe will have an appointment with her specialist. All this trauma and bleeding has me concerned...so I called and they want to see her on friday.

Just keep swimming... oh and a breath here and there would be nice too.

Well, I was so excited. I got a dress... a Disney Christmas Belle dress. It is beautiful! I also got the fur like cape that goes with it and shoes and tiara and the wand off of ebay. Sadly... only the cape fit. Now, I could look at it one of two ways.... either I just purchased something that she can't use.

I purchased something that she will HAVE to use on another occasion. Shh... don't tell Steve, but I might have to make a least a short trip around the holidays just with Zoe so she can wear this beautiful dress...and it is beautiful. The fabric has flocking and has multiple layers. Just a wee bit too big. So.. this will have to wait for next year unless she does a bunch of growing in the next 9 weeks.

I will take a picture and post it later.... but yes... a mini trip would be good! Course, for us a mini would have to be to DL cause it takes a full days travel to fly to WDW. That wouldn't be so bad though since we haven't been in a very long time.
