Will your MIL be using a wheelchair at the resort? If so, I'd probably request a Handicap Accessible GV, maybe in Bldg 62, 63 or 64. These "new" bldgs are fairly close to the Hospitality area. Be aware, though, that there have been reports of increased parking congestoin in the Hospitality area because of the pool construction equip and crews.
Also, if she is using a wheelchair at the resort, another "good" location may be in the cluster of buildings just across the Peninsular Rd bridge from the Hospitality area.
As far as crowds, the
DVC resorts themselves will be busy...but the parks are very easy to get around in the mornings. The crowds tend to increase in the evenings, because of the Christmas activities.
Just wondering if anyone can tell me about the crowds Dec 5-11. This is my first trip during the holidays (except MArdi Gras) and want to know how the crowds are. Also, what is the best Grand Villa to request closest to the Hospitality Hosue and Bus stop. Mother-In-Law needs wheelchair and can' twalk very far.
