Will your MIL be using a wheelchair at the resort? If so, I'd probably request a Handicap Accessible GV, maybe in Bldg 62, 63 or 64. These "new" bldgs are fairly close to the Hospitality area. Be aware, though, that there have been reports of increased parking congestoin in the Hospitality area because of the pool construction equip and crews.
Also, if she is using a wheelchair at the resort, another "good" location may be in the cluster of buildings just across the Peninsular Rd bridge from the Hospitality area.
As far as crowds, the
DVC resorts themselves will be busy...but the parks are very easy to get around in the mornings. The crowds tend to increase in the evenings, because of the Christmas activities.
