Alot of you are turning into sheep. And I think a few people in here are confusing fight with debate. I don't see a fight anywhere. I just think that my arguments are making you give up. And I'm not going to talk to my youth minister. I don't even have one. My entire point of this is why I go against religion.

Anyway, in theory, if I converted to the Christian religion, I could do whatever I wanted, and still get into heaven? It doesnt make sense at all. The entire point of religion is to steer yourself to a better way of life. I base my life on my own value system, not a value system made by a group using a work of fiction to prophesize life. I'm going to party. Value this.

ok. i'm joining against my better judgement. i'm mormon, and yes, for all of you out there who might not know, that means i'm christian too. i believe in christ and i will do anything to defend my faith.
it says in james that faith without works is dead. ultimate religion is about living your life in a moral and ethical way. christ emanated this in his ministry. he did not condemn anyone. but he showed (through his works) that he loved and had charity towards everyone. to be saved, we need to do everything we need to. we can't just say "oh i believe, save me now." we need to show through our actions that we are truly christians. that is what pure religion is about.

hello princessdisney, glad to have you. i am glad to hear you standing up for christ. i myself after having a break of discussing this found it almost funny how he is the only one on this thread, out of over 350 people that have looked at it, that is critisizing faith and god. then when you talked about how without the work there is like no spiritual envolvment. it is like a fruit tree. god is the stump and the branches we are the fruit. the work we show grows the fruit.
