Hey everybody...my family has been sick with some virus...it has gotten 3/5 of us so far and it lasts about 4-5 days, so life has been hectic. So far I have not gotten sick. I am supposed to go to a retreat next weekend and I am playing and singing at some of the worship times too...I have a lot to practice. So I am asking for prayer that I'll stay healthy.

One good thing happened in all of this though...I had to go to work this morning so my DH stayed home with our one son who is sick now...He was listening to the radio and he called in for a contest and won TWO AWESOME SEAT TICKETS to see MWS, Selah and Watermark in May!!!!!! I think he said he won a CD too but he wasn't sure which CD...goofy guy...LOL!! If he hadn't been home he wouldn't have won! I wanted to go to this concert but the money wasn't happening...and now we can go!! We haven't been out on a "date" for months, (concerts nowadays are usually one of us taking our oldest son) so now we will hopefully be able to go by ourselves and enjoy this great night of music and glorifying God! WOOOHOOO!!!

Hi Everyone!

Jeanne and Jilly, thank you for your prayers. I was able to talk to my mom on monday about the membership class that I am taking at church( she knew I was taking the class, she just did not know that I wanted to join) and that I did want to join. She had some concerns about me joining the church, so before I talked to her about this I went and talked to one of the pastors and my small group leadar. I had told her what they had said to me and I think that eased her mind and then she said that she was okay with me joining the Church!!!!!!! And she said if that's what I wanted to do, then she was happy for me! So this May 14, I will get Confirmed in church and Baptized.


Jilly, I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I hope your son feels better real soon! That is awesome that you guys won tickets to the concert!
