Our church group went to Farmington this past summer for a mission trip to build/fix homes of the needy. I searched every day for a moose. We even drove through Moose Alley one foggy, rainy morning.

No moose.

I think it's a scam.

Maine just wants tourists, so they tell us to come see the moose.

The only Moose I saw was the Big huge statue we stood in front of for a picture and the stuffed animal toy that DH had to finally buy me at a rest stop on the way home to shut me up about the moose.

It's a scam I tell ya

Barb, you're cracking me up! I have never seen a Moose in Maine, or Minnesota but i did see ONE in New Hampshire about six years ago.

Barb, I could indeed pelt you with lemons, oranges and grapefruit but alas, my weapon of choice is SNOWBALLS!!!!

And yes, it is true that no weapon formed against you will prosper but these will still get ya nice and soggy!

Well now, are there moose in Maine? Yup! I've seen 'em along the road, in my yard as a kid, in DH's work yard, way up in the willywacks, swimming across part of the lake at my grandparent's camp etc. Just before dusk is the best time...they come out to eat supper. Boggy areas are a good spot to see them.

As for Michelle and her snowballs....no, she didn't get them from me. We have a very strict law against exporting any snow products
