guys, I just received an email from my boss that upset me, although it just could be the way I am taking it right now. Could you pray (at least for the next few minutes) that I would respond appropriately? Please. I have an email response all set to go, but want to pray before I hit send.
He sent it to me at the office, but I occasionally check the mail from home. Probably a good thing, since I have spent the last half hour crying.

kim, i pray that the lord will keep you and your family in his hands and bring ya'll back together safely after your work is done. what a day of rejoicing that will be.

we attended the award ceremony of dd thurs at her christian school, and although we felt that she underachieves a bit, were still proud that she made the a/b honor roll, and received excellent marks in most of her subjects. she was also recognized for her giving spirit. it is also such a joy to see so many of our church friends' kids at the school and celebrate their success as well.

I am up very, very, very early this morning, it's 5:41 a.m. here right now! I had to take my mom to work, so that is why I am up so early. I think I need to go back to bed, because I am still sleepy.

Jeanne, I am so sorry I just saw what you posted last night just now. The boards went down last night and I was an able to look at anything. I know it's kind of late but I am saying my prayers for you right now. Here is a big for you and I will be thinking of you.

Thanks, Sarah, I did pray for quite a while, and reread my response and I think it was respectful and yet got my point across. It probably wasn't as bad as I thought last night (really, it was more about him than me) but I guess it was just bad timing. I hate it when Otto is away, and I am sure that is part of it all. Anyway, we shall see. Hopefully the whole thing will be dropped now that we both aired our feelings.

Jeanne, I didn't get to see your post last night either but I am praying now for everything to work out.

Sarah, if you have heard that song on the radio then you are super blessed because you'd have to hold someone at gunpoint to get it played on any of the Christian stations around here. They used to have programs on the weekends where they played rock music but not anymore. I guess the fact that there isn't a whole lot of Christian Rock on the market right now might have something to do with it but there is an endless supply if they go back a few years. To answer your question though, the song is on the Jekyl & Hyde cd, it's brand new so you shouldn't have any trouble finding it.

Jilly, I wanted to ask you, since you like this style of music have you ever checked out Guardian? They have some awesome music! They have two cd's in particular that are on my favorites list, The Way Home and Swing, Swang, Swung.

Phil, thanks for the link! Congratulations to your DD, she sounds like a real sweetheart! I will be praying for VBS! I had so much fun at VBS when I was a little girl.

Prayers said for Jilly and her sweet boys, for those who are traveling and for Jeanne's situation with her boss.

Michelle, just this week I heard "Voice of Truth" on the radio...love it!!! And you know I love that FFH song!

Sorry to say that I'm not a Petra fan...maybe I just need to give it a listen again, but I didn't used to care for them. I know, I know....how awful for me to admit that!

I love kindergarten Graduations! Our Christian school also has them...my nephew graduates next Mon. Both my kiddos looked soooo cute in their little caps and gowns.....makes a Mom's heart just burst!!!

An off topic side note about the DIS: I just had a PM from someone I tried to help find a Samoyed breeder back last Nov/Dec. She got a pup from breeders who are friends of ours and actually I saw her pup when she was 3 wks old! Too neat....talk about a small world!!! Hopefully we will meet up at a show sometime!

There is no shame in not liking a certain group. Everyone has different taste. Not liking Petra seems a tad insane to me but to each his own. LOL Actually, after their last few albums left me just sitting there thinking "what in the world" I was re-thinking my fan status. LOL They have made ammends though so all is right in my world again. That's too cool about the puppy!
