Are you talking to me? Oh, I guess you are. No I don't have any of Petra's music, but I would like to maybe get one of there CD's. I am sure I have heard them on the radio a lot. And I think I would like the heavy guitar rock.

I ask for Your protection for my sister Jill and her family. Lord, I ask for Your healing for her boys, and for annointing for Jilly, with Your comfort, mercy and grace as she goes through this tough time. I pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and nurses as they treat her boys. I pray for the boys too, Father, that they will be patient with their mom as she struggles to keep them rested and healthy as they all fight this illness in their house. Lord, I pray for Your healing in this house, may your peace reign down upon them all. Please give Jill a double portion of strength, peace and patience at this time.

Sarah, since you don't have any of their albums might I suggest you pick up their War & Rememberance 2-disc set if you can find it. That would be an awesome introduction to a broad spectrum of their music for a Petra "newbie".

Sarah, they might have it and if they don't they might be able to order it for you. I just looked at www.christianbook.com and they don't have it but they did have some of their other compilations, Petrified and Petraphonics were two that they had, both are really good. They had a ton of Petra cd's for 6.49, you can't beat that price so if you want to pick a few and check them out go for it.

I got the Casting Crowns cd today too, awesome from start to finish. Aside from Who Am I, which you all already know I like I took a liking to this one co-written by SCC too.

Jilly I'm glad you had a wonderful birthday!!!!! Just rest assure that your boys are already healed in the name of Jesus! Their bodies may be weak at this moment but the healing and love of God is stronger! Nothing is mightier than him. I will keep you and your sons in my prayers.


Thanks everyone for your prayers and well wishes for my trip to San Antonio and my family in my absence. James will need all the prayers he can get with DS Jordan (5 months) & DD Amani (6 yrs). Jordan started crawling a month ago and is starting to pull up on everything to transition into walking. So that means James does not get a moments rest. Amani will be of great help, but she's going to get bored soon because her school is out and camp does not start until June 22. So she's going to be climbing the walls in a couple of days and my cell phone is going to ring broken

Someone mentioned that it's funny that none of us have ever met but it feels like we've know each other for a very long time. To me that's God's love filtering through all of us. Coming to this thread, you feel as if you can be yourself without judgment. It's comfortable here and I love that feeling. We all are walking with Christ! He can turn perfect strangers who have never met and turn them into great friends just by sharing his love from breast to breast..... NOW TELL ME WE DON'T SERVE AN AWESOME GOD!!!
