Michelle, I was looking at your scripture post and it reminded me yesterday of a sermon I heard...he said, "Evidence of a Spirit-filled life is singing...I don't care if you can carry a tune or not!" Jesus certainly does put a new song in our hearts and God daily places songs of praise on our lips for us to glorify HIM!!!!! AMEN and SHOUT TO THE LORD!!!!!

So, what are everyone's plans for Easter?

I am going to be with my family and do our regular stuff...baskets for the kids...egg hunt...etc. And of course we are going to church to celebrate our Lord and Savior, Jesus' victory over sin and death!!!!! The church where I attend MOPS is having a sunrise service and I might go to that.

We always start our Easter morning together with a prayer and devotion and we listen to The Easter Song and The Victor by Keith Green. After church we are going to a brunch at my In-laws and a buffet dinner at my mom's. I sure hope everyone stays healthy because Easter is my favorite holiday! Before Easter we ALWAYS go to Good Friday and sometimes Maundy Thursday Services...(depending on the timing) and of course our Easter preparations include dyeing eggs and doing the scripture eggs with our kids. On Saturday, the church across the street from us...(yes we live across the street from a church, but we don't go there) is having a special celebration for kids that the boys want to go to...so hopefully our weekend will be packed...but filled with Easter joy and excitment over God's great love and power!!! So what are y'all up to???

You made my day with the Scott Wesley Brown song, I'm going to go home and listen to that CD tonight! Classic Petra too! Speaking of Petra, did you know that Bob Hartman is back with the band? Woo Hoo! You sure could tell when he left, their style was just gone. I read an interview with John Schlitt the other day and he said that their newest album Jekyll & Hide was more like their early 90's style so I'm gonna have to check that one out. I've been seriously disappointed with the last few from them (not the p&w ones but the regular ones).

Jilly... what do you think of the idea to meet while we are in Hershey?
Our Easter sounds like yours... SONrise service, then home for breakfast and the egg hunt for the kids. Then off to my dad's for dinner and some family time. After that we will come home and relax. My DD and I usually go to our Passover Seder dinner at church (what an awesome time) and I always go to our Good Friday service. The kids are off on Monday, so that is our sleep-late-and-do-nothing day. (My favorite kind of day!) I am the secretary for our church and Easter week and Christmas week are some of my busiest (and most blessed!) times.

Jeanne, sorry I never responded!!! After you responded I was thining "Great!" But I guess I never said it... If I'm counting the days out right we should be able to do a trip to Hershey...we are only about two hours away and and my kids love to go to the Chocolate World. I'm not sure how much of the park we would do but maybe we could meet in town or for a meal or something!! As the time gets closer we'll sure things up! I know it's been great putting faces to names and having a great time with people at meets...but the best times I have to say are when we met up with Tash in Maine and Michelle at DTD last summer! Which reminds me , I gotta post that picture of you getting smoochy with "old man Lego"!

Hi Jilly! I would love to see a picture of that! I am really excited becuase when we go to Disney World in October I get to meet Michelle in person! And the best part is, I get to hang out with her for the weekend at Disney World!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!
