Just an update...as of today, (Sat), my niece is not an inpatient in the ED clinic. She will be continuing there on the "day" program so she will be home only for dinners and to sleep for at least two weeks. Things are going well for her and now the "real work" begins! Thanks for your prayers, past, present and future!

Hello everyone. How is your weekend? I just wanted to pop in and ask for your prayers. I know it may sound like a simple thing to you, but to me and my husband it is a great battle that we have been fighting. We have been trying to move for years. Everythime we try, something happens. I know exactly who is fighting us, but with every belief, he will be defeated!! We are supposed to close on our new home by Wednesday at the latest. Keep us in your prayers!!!

Sheree', I am praying right now and will continue until Wednesday when everything will be finalized. I wouldn't consider this a mere simple request...aren't we blessed to serve a God who takes all of our requests and KNOWS each and every concern of our hearts...the big and the small...and wants so much to meet out EVERY need!

A verse that I love to share with people in almost all circumstances is a promise from Zephaniah...because it is so simple and yet so profound..."The Lord your God is with you. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love."
Trusting in that promise in the midst of the smallest and greatest of storms is where we can really see how God wants us to know Him...that is, He is always with us (sometimes we forget), He DELIGHTS in us (We are HIS DESIRE!!!) and he longs to keep us STILL and PEACEFUL in His great and marvelous love ALONE!!

How can we look upon the cross and see anything else??? His great Calvary Work is our proof of this promise fulfilled. His WORD to us is that He wants us dwelling and RESTING in His "delighted" arms of love where we will find true and lasting peace in ALL circumstances.

This trial has only been used to DRAW you closer and to lead you to a greater understanding of Him. Your greatest victory in this battle is knowing that everytime things didn't work out you were still surrounded by His promises!! That's our God! How Awesome!

Jilly, I'm so glad to hear that Jonathan (and all of you) are better! Great news about Jess as well, continuing to pray for her complete healing and deliverance. How are things going with her family wise? Is Rose doing any better with her feelings?

Sheree', I'm praying for you guys and your move. I'm so glad that we serve a God who never views our requests as too simple or even too complicated. The smallest thing that matters to us is a big deal to Him because if it concerns us, His children, the ones that He loves and gave His very life for then it concerns Him. Don't ever doubt how important every aspect of your life is to Him. He loves you!

The Lord's Word for me today (thought I would share it with you all) is that the battle is not against flesh and blood but against princepalities of the dark. The battle is HIS.

In heavenly armour we'll enter the land
