Happy New Year everyone!! Anyone have any plans for tonight? We used to go out to eat or get together with family for movies and goodies, but haven't lately. Guess we'll be watching movies here tonight....that's ok.

Michelle, no new CD's here but lots of good books!!! That 4Him cd sounds great....I may have to go buy it and maybe something else. We just bought a new camper trailer and it has a cd player in it. DH said we should start buying things for the camper.....I'm pretty sure we NEED new cd's for it Don't you think??

Dan, I have lost track of what number thread we are on. I remember joining the original in the fall of 2000. I have never been sorry that I did! What a great group of people! I have many wonderful friends here and someone I know helped me out with travel trips through Chicago What a great place this is! In the words of "Tiny Tim" .....God bless us, everyone!

Happy New Year. Haven't had a lot of time to post. Oldest dd was just diagnosed with Mono. Sick as a dog since Christmas Eve. Been to the doc numerous times. Nothing they can do but let her ride it out. Please keep her in your prayers

Oh, cheeringmom, so sorry to hear about your daughter...I will be praying for you and for her. So glad you came by to tell us and I hope all will be better soon so you can come around and post some more! My DH had mono when we were in college and he had to drop out for the semester because he missed so much school. That's why he graduated later than me The the poor soul also caught the chicken pox at the end of his last semester in college and had to go to his graduation all "pock-faced"!! He was an only child so I always kidded him about his resistance being low because he never had siblings to share diseases with growing up! Anyway, I know how bad mono can be and I know you can do NOTHING but get LOTS of rest and wait it out, so I am praying for you all!

Jennifer, those scriptures are awesome! Thanks so much for posting them sweet sis! I hope you're getting some time off this holiday season. I know hospitals NEVER get to close down . Praying for you!

Tonight we will stay in and let our kids stay up till midnight...play games as a family of course...EAT!!! Dan made some pesto sauce and he's making dough for a Pesto Pizza! He is quite the chef...maybe someday his dream of opening his own restaraunt will come true! I keep telling him to wish upon a star! The other night we celebrated my youngest DS's Bday (Can't believe he's FIVE!!!!) and Dan made Chicken Picatta for the adults! YUMMY! BIG HIT! Still eating leftovers ~Scrumptious~
