Beautiful song

Many of you know I am hard of hearing. Many deaf and hard of hearing people do not know Christ as their personal Savior. Often they have attended church with hearing family for years but never understood the message of the gospel because of their lack of hearing. I you have someone in your church like this especially a child I encourage you to do 2 things. Find an interpreter or provide real time captioning for this person. Help them find a Deaf Ministry with Deaf Christians.
My church has interpreters, 5 (1 who is QA, 1 that is not but working and 1 who is a retired deaf educator and 2 interpreter trainees) , we have 2 screens where words to music and inportant points in the sermons are placed. We are lucky that we have this as many churches do not. But we are also lucky to have a preacher who is hard of hearing and understands the needs of our community. And we always welcome new deaf and hard of hearing visitors.
