Ooh, YAY! Now this is my kind-of post! LOL! We post about our favorite Christian music. Wow, it's really hard for me to pick a song, but i definitely would have to say that it's "Does Anybody Hear Her"? By Casting Crowns. Here are the lyrics:

I guess Jeremy Camp must have recently recorded a version of this too. I found lyrics to it while trying to find Fernando Ortega's lyrics. I confess that I have not listened to Jeremy Camp's version. I just love Fernando Ortega's version so much that I cannot imagine it being sung by anyone else!

I wanted to post a prayer request this morning. I have a very precious friend that will be having a double mastectomy in about 30 minutes. They found her to have stage 2 breast cancer about a month ago.
She and her husband are in full time ministry. They travel for music ministry, providing music for revival meetings all over. They also do marriage conferences. Here is their ministry home page so you read more about them.

I just got an update from my friend's husband. God has answered prayers!!!!!! Praise Him!!!!!!!!!

I copied the update so I can post his exact words:

Well, Dr. Bussey just came out about 15 minutes ago, after one hour and 15 minutes of surgery. All went well with the double mastectomy & they took 3 nodes that were analyzed with a quick pathology test & they look clear & normal! Praise God. So, all looks good right now. This was our main prayer today. They will still send those nodes & all tissue to pathology & we will have final report in 2 days.
Dr. LeBlanc is now starting reconstruction. Pray that all goes well.
We have a FULL section of family & friends here on the 2nd floor waiting room....been yelled at for being too loud!
God is with us. Thanks for praying, will update later tonight.

Good morning everyone! Our youth pastor did a wonderful illustration Wednesday night with simply some water and one of those sham wow like towels. He poured out the water and soaked it up with the towel. He said lets think about the towel being us and the water is the truth, God's Word. He poured more water and soaked it up, on about the third attempt the towel was full and would not soak up any more. He said this is what happens if we aren't in turn sharing what we have heard with others or pouring out the Truth and our gifts and talents for God's glory. He said if we just sit this towel down, it's full, can't soak up any more, and it will sour. Just like we as Christians if we aren't careful we can just soak, sit and sour. He rang the water out and showed how the towel could once again soak up more water. It was a powerful illustration!!!!!

Her and her band were awesome!! She really makes it like you are in Heaven when she does worship She comes to my church once every 4yrs, wishing she would come more often.
