I just heard this song a little over a week ago, and it touched my heart........DH's too! And he doesn't even listen to contemporary christian music. He likes classic hymns, bluegrass, and southern gospel. However, the words touched him so much he has already added it to his iPod!

Hey everybody, how's it going? Its been so long since I've posted on this thread, but I'm coming back!!

I have a few things I'd like to say and that I would appreciate some prayers right now, and that I'm going through some hard times at the moment...But I do know that the Lord God is in control of all things.

Today 11-19-08 one of my teachers that was my advocate past away last night, and I would love to think that he was a Christian, but only God knows that. He died very sudden last night on 11-18-08 his name was Randy S. (won't say the full name). Yeah...um, I'm really going to miss him, he was a great man, he loved helping everyone out the best he could. He's help me with several things, my parents even knew him. We were informed by what happened this morning before I had left for school. Its just so heartbreaking, and I could see just how many people Loved him so much, just by their words and everything. I cried so much today, it was hard to even do my work. So many people were very sad today while at school. I want to lift up him and his family into prayer, they're going through a very difficult time right now, I'm sure. R.I.P Randy S.

Another thing is that my Grandma is dieing, and I haven't seen her in a while, but I'll be seeing her on Thanksgiving. So please pray for her as well, thank you.

My Grandpa on my Mom's side has his coughing again, and he just keeps coughing.. and I could get something that I wrote a while ago and put it here so you all can see what's happened and what's going on now. I don't mind showing it. So here it is its a quote I had posted on a thread a while ago and I saved it so here it is:

A few years ago, he was coughing so bad that he had to go see a doctor about it. The doctors didn't know what it was, they took tests, they did everything you could possibly think of for him. They then finially went into surgery...opened up his chest and found fungus growing around his lungs. They said it must have been there for years, because, my grandpa coughs so much anyways. The way he got the fungus though is, he used to work as a builder, building homes. The fungus came from breathing in something, maybe even the wood, or something. The last time when they went into find out what was causing him the coughing, they took out the fungus, and when he was in his room one of the nurses had to come in and change his bandage around his chest...and my gradpa could have died that day when that nurse nicked something bad. I really don't want to lose my grandpa, I'm so close to him. And now, I've just heard today that he's got bad coughing again and he's back on this VERY VERY POWERFUL Med. That is able to try and get rid of the fungus. I hope it goes away soon. Man, I'm tears and so sad right now. It just hit me so hard!

That's my grandpa on my Mom's side and I'm very close to him, and he IS a believer in God as well. So please pray for him and everyone I've listed up above here as well.

I'm having friend problems and I'm just going to have to move on and live my life, I can't keep getting hurt by these people I've known for like, ever. So today 11-19-08 I started going back to the Youth group at school and man, I want to keep going back to praise Him, praise the Lord God Almighty!!!! I had a blast today for that. Everyone in that group just Loves the Lord. I finally started going back to Youth group at church tonight and I want to keep going back now. I've fallen and now I'm being picked up again to just praise Him and live My life for Him. Praise the Lord God!!!

While today at school, we always have a guitar player who does the guitar playing and man, this song I just love it so much because I want to Tell The World That Jesus Died For Them!! Tell The World That He Lives Again!! Died on the Cross for their Sins! So here's the song:

I am so sorry to read about your struggles right now. I am happy to see, though, that in this time you are turning to the Lord. He is a refuge and strength! I will pray for you and the friends and family that you have mentioned.

God has shown Himself in such awesome ways to me these last few days, even when I have given in to my flesh and emotions. I am so ashamed at my reactions to stress recently. My family attended a wonderful church service Wednesday night. The visiting evangelist was anointed, and God really used him to stir my heart!
The music minister of the church sang an AWESOME song. The words were a powerful prayer. I asked him about the song after the service. He told me that it is an old Steve Green song. I had never heard it before that night. I have looked on iTunes, but it is not available. I cannot find the video of it either. I can find a video of someone singing it. I thought that I would share that one. I am sure that Steve Green singing it is much better, but at least you can hear the words here.

This song is so true! It is just a reminder that we have to stand firm. We cannot give in to the enemy's schemes.
It reminds me of a saying, "Sin takes you farther than you want to go, keeps you longer than you want to stay, and costs you more than you want to pay."
