*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

OH NO!!! Afraid someone would ask....Now who wants to explain ;)

Canasta can be explained quite a few pages ago. Technically, it's a card game :thumbsup2

I'm not touching the canasta question.

Remember when my cousin went to see Bret Michaels? Here is the review:

"Honey he was hotter than HOT!! Loved it. The place was packed!! "

Bret's hot? Really? He must have had the good wig on.

Wow these next few days are going to wiz on by!!!!

I am wondering if I am going to pack my flat iron too... I usually bring a straightening brush (the kind you blow dry over to straighten hair) and it takes up less room. I fear the humidity will just curl up my hair anyways. if I have room in the bag it's in, if not- oh well. LOL.

Lovin' the lists! Are you gonna start a TR before you go so we can virtually stalk you and be jealous of you being in the world???

If we decide to do live updates, do they go in the PTR or do they need to go into the trip report? Hmmmm

Somebody must be excited that they are only three days away since I logged on and found four pages to catch up on!!! ;)

Hurray for 3 days!!! I can't believe it!!! party:

Snacks and Beverages:

Let's see how much we actually try. My mom always says I "eat with my eyes." I always order too much. Some of these will be shared with T, mom, and dad. Of course, adult beverages will NOT be shared with T.

1. Fiesta Margarita
2. Grand Marnier Slushie
3. Grey Goose Slushie
4. Dole Whip and Dole Float (not at the same time :lmao: )
5. Funnel Cake
6. Pirate's Punch (raspberry lemonade with a light up Tink or Captain Hook)
7. Lapu Lapu
8. Kir Royale (This is a must everywhere I go. One of my favs :thumbsup2 )
9. Vanilla and chocolate shakes (Who can resist liquid heaven in the summer?)
10. Popcorn
11. Mickey ice cream bar
12. Kaki Gori shaved ice
13. Tangerine Daquiri
14. German beer in a souvenir stein (for dad)
15. Ice cream sandwich at the Main Street Bakery

Am I leaving anything out?

Have you checked out the snacks page? http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1683477

Would you recommend stopping by the Swan as well? We willd definitely head over to the Dolphin, but I don't read as much about the Swan. Is it worth the trip?
You can peek into the Swan if you have time, but seriously, I love the Dolphin so much better! The Swan is more calm and sedate. The Dolphin is all hustle and bustle and vibrant. That's what I like in a vacation. :cool1:

I am going to have to visit that Summer Sands store. I just pasted your description into an email to DH and DD. They will love it. DH just bought a bunch of Billabong and QS stuff last night. Maybe he shoulda waited. :confused3

DD LOVES that store. We bought a few things. :goodvibes

Magic Kingdom Must see/do:

1. Pirates of the Caribbean

A girl after my own heart.

Jen, I'm so excited for you! I actually thought of you at work today. I work at a bank, and as I was daydreaming out the drive thru window, one of the rambling thoughts that went through my head was WOW! Jen's going soon!:goodvibes

Jen I'm getting SUPER excited for you! :woohoo:

Girl and spill the beans! What about "It's a small world" makes you gag? I mean are you serious or jokking? 'm asking because if it will make you dizzy or nauseous please let me know as I am very easily nauseated and it will make for a quick end of the day for us

Surprisingly, they are flying by. The mornings drag, but once I'm up and busy, they go by much faster.

The humidity is the problem for me too. I think I'm going to find space in my luggage for the flat iron.

I'm not sure if I'm starting a tr before I leave or once I get back. Let's see how hectic things are tomorrow. I'll definitely start a new thread for the tr.

If we decide to do live updates, do they go in the PTR or do they need to go into the trip report? Hmmmm

Good question :confused3

awww... the boys look adorable!

Thanks!

And I'm still laughing!

I'm still trying to figure out what makes him hot :rotfl2:

Thanks for the link. I'm going to check it out.

Since I'll be in the area, I'll check out all of the Epcot resorts before the Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream.

I'm excited too :yay: I can't wait. And T keeps asking my brother "When am I going to Disney World? I want to have fun." :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: Okay okay, I"ll go back and read...I gatta latta catch up on!:laundy:

Ok :lmao:

Jen where are you?

2 days!!!!

I fell asleep watching Primetime last night.

Disney is SOOOO CLOSE!!!!! :dance3:

Your trip is really close too!

I'm joking about IASW. The song makes me gag. Nothing about the ride itself. It's so mild. You sit in a boat for what feels like 3 hours, floating through exhibit after exhibit of dancing dolls singing "It's a small world after all..." The song sticks in your head the entire day. But since it's your first visit, you can't skip it. Everyone needs to experience it just once :thumbsup2

2 days!!!! 2 days until Disney!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!

Today, is my diva day. I'm getting waxed, polished, and shampooed for Disney World.

Here is today's busy busy schedule:

1. Waxing appointment with Eliza. I'm pretty obsessed with eyebrow waxing. I like my brows to look neat.

2. Manicure and pedicure. My toes need to be freshly polished for those jaunts to the pool.

3. Hair appointment. My stylist is on vacation, so I'm using someone else. Luckily, she's fantastic. I need a deep conditioning before exposing my hair to the heat and humidity.

4. Dentist. He has to check my bite (I've been having some dental issues lately and see if the laser whitening needs to be touched up.

5. Dermatologist. I need a check up, refill on prescriptions, and some more cleanser, exfoliator, glycolic cleansing pads, and eye cream. This is Botox prevention.

Wow! You have got a busy busy day!!

Botox prevention!! :rotfl: :lmao: :worship:

Very busy! I start out on the Upper East Side. Then I have to go across town to the Upper West Side. Then head down to Central Park South. And finally back up to the Park Avenue on the Upper East Side. I will personally support NYC taxis today.

My dermatologist does Botox. So if the need arises....:rotfl2:

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: That is just way too funny. At least you won't need a referral!

Voldemort leaves for Mexico today. I'm not sure if I should do this :sad1: or this :yay: . I won't be mean :lmao: If I wasn't going to Disney in 2 days, I'd be very sad. But I have to put Operation Muppets into action.

In the meantime, I need to learn a new card game. :rotfl2:
