Chip And Dale Are Gone?!?! ='[

I just read that chip and dale are gone from chef mickey's?!? Is this true? Did they replace them with someone else?? I'm going this year and would be bummed if they weren't there!! I enjoy seeing them every year i go!!

it's purely fab 5 at chef mickey's.

chip & dale still show up at other meals like LTT and garden grill

We just ate dinner there on May 12th.

DS was happy we ate at LTT 2 nights later...Chip & Dale are two of his favorites!!

We have been to Chef Mickey's a few times and it was always Mickey, Minnie, Chip & Dale, and either Goofy or Donald circulating with either Goofy or Donald as the greeter. We once had Daisy circulating with Goofy as the greeter. So it was always 5 circulating and one greeting.

So it seems they'll have one less circulating (adding Pluto but taking away both Chip & Dale) if they still have one of the Fab 5 as a greeter.

I see. That's why I said 'if' because I was thinking if they are cutting back one character, then they'll probably eliminate the greeter and have everyone cirulating. Oh well.

Sorry you're bummed...but I am happy to know that DS will get to have breakfast with Mickey AND Minnie as he has been asking to do. I thought Minnie wasn't there and I was trying to figure out what to do about that, lol.

I've eaten there at least 5 times now (always dinner though) and Minnie was always there. They are getting rid ofChip & Dale but adding Pluto. The rest are the same as always. I'll get over it.

that's good. although i can almost guarantee you haven't been there in the past 6 months or so. since they changed it.

actually, it sounds like it may have been a lot longer than that? typically one of the characters would be in rotation between breakfast and dinner. often it would be donald out for dinner but not for breakfast and pluto out for breakfast but not dinner. sometimes it was also minnie who was cycled out.

Oh, no. I am bummed too. I love Chip and Dale. Goofy as well as Chip and Dale always make my little ones smile. Last year we had Donald as the greeter with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale circulating.

This year we only have 3 character meals: Akershus (breakfast), Crystal Palace (dinner), and Chef Mickey's (dinner) planned because last year we did all of the character meals except Donald Breakfastosaurus and Cape May Cafe. It was almost too much character interaction because a lot were repeats.

I am going to try to reserve LTT or Garden Grill to see Chip and Dale.

No, but Chip & Dale are at Liberty Tree, Garden Grill and Cape May.

Chip and Dale seem to be everywhere! My BIL calls them the "Where's Waldo" of WDW! We usually see them so much during a given trip that DD doesn't even bother going up to them by the end!
