Day Two Friday 15th September
Cast:
Claire (Me) - Initiator, planner, over excited one
Mike Goes with the flow
As this was the first proper day of our holiday we got up extra early and headed down for the hotel buffet then it was in the car and off to Epcot. We got a space in the first row and entered the park; the place was empty but very hot.
Me (in the pink top) entering Epcot
We headed over to test track and then stayed on to go round again as no one was waiting. Next we headed to Mission Space and tried the chicken version. Mike wanted to do the proper one and I thought what the heck Ill go to. I really wish I hadnt, I hated every bit of it and had to sit down the minute we came off it. Decided to try Ellens Energy ride next as my stomach was still churning and my head wanted to lie down.
Next I think we headed over to the World showcase and got the boat to Morocco. However after a quick look round the heat was starting to get to me so we headed back passing the Rose & Crown to see if they had any ADRs left, they didnt, and went into The Land. Rode Soarin then had some lunch before going into the Lion King Environment show thing.
We headed back to the hotel and had a swim to cool down and then went straight back to Epcot and did the things we missed before like turtle talk which I loved. Back over to the World and got a frozen margarita drink, wow that was strong. Started at Mexico, rode the ride there and in Norway, and ate in Italy which we werent that impressed with plus the toilets in Germany were really dirty.
After wed eaten we carried onto Japan where I became really tired so I grabbed a spot to watch the fireworks and sent Mike off to France to buy me a crepe. Fireworks were lovely and then it was bedtime.
(Had problems with my photos but I will add them later)
