Chill Spots: Indoor places that Allow Strollers - With List

There are quite a few little tucked away tables and covered areas at AK near Flame Tree BBQ.

Some are shaded and some are actually covered.

I also remembered - the first time we ate lunch at Pecos Bill, we weren't allowed to bring the stroller in as it was very very busy. They weren't letting anyone sit without having food (they had a CM controlling this). A different day we were there for dinner, and it wasn't busy at all and there was no CM controlling who sat, and we were allowed to bring the stroller in then. We were at a table in the very back against the wall, very out of the way of everyone around us.

Thanks everyone, this list is so helpful.
I'm going to compile all the suggestions (and limitations) by park and add them to the first post of this thread to help others.

MK:
Columbia Harbor House allowed the stroller (with sleeping DD). We tried pinocchios first and even though it was empty (only 4 other families) and DD was sleeping they said no strollers. I was starving and didn't want to wake DD so we went to CHH. Even though they were busy they said it was fine. (there were lots of strollers in here).

I took the stroller in Cosmic Rays and no one said anything. I don't think I was supposed to though. I didn't see any others and they had stroller parking right outside (I didn't see it as I walked in). It was so crowded and you had to have your food to sit down. Since I needed to feed DD, she and I left and went to the Tomorrowland Terrace. DH brought our food over to use.

Tomorrowland Terrace- we sat here a few times it was nice, quiet, and cool. Plus the view and music was great too!

We mostly found benches or went shopping.

AK:

If the child is sleeping you can watch the bird show. They have a section of benches for children sleeping in strollers. If they wake up you have to leave or remove the stroller. We watched the show twice. The first time we went we didn't realize DD had fallen asleep and started walking away. The nice CM explained we could go in.

I know we took here stroller on the animal walk with the tigers.

DHS:

I know someone said the Animation Academy but we were not allowed to take ours in. The CM was very firm and rude about it. We didn't know as there were no signs. The CM made us feel dumb and DH was upset.

We had a hard time in this park finding things to do while she napped. Once again benches and shopping.

Epcot:

This was one of the best places. I don't recall many places we couldn't take the stroller (except the seas and land pavillions)

The Fountain at the Swan allows strollers

Ohana's also allowed the stroller. (once again DD was sleepy and she couldn't sit in a high chair yet). She ended up sleeping over half the meal. Also at Ohana's they have the slings to the car seats. Were were driving and they waiter told us this as I was planning on holding her during our breakfast.

I had read a lot of reports of strollers not being allowed in restaurants so didn't make many ADRs but I found the opposite true. They actually have a stroller option they can check instead of high chair. However we go at slow times and DD was too small or a high chair.

Monorail- we were never asked to fold our stroller

Boats- It depended on the boat. Some we could roll it on and some not. On one the CM was asking people to remove children from strollers if possible b/c it was crowded.

We rarely even used the parking lot trams due to having to fold the stroller. We just walked. On our first day we went to MK and used the tram. Since we had never had a stroller before we had a bit of trouble getting off. The lady in front of us told us we needed a better system. I was very embarrassed and we walked the rest of the time. The second trip was a little better when we rode it a few times.

They let you bring strollers into the Dumbo play area? I don't remember seeing any in there last month. Would get pretty crazy if everyone brought them in, as it was very crowded and hectic without them.

We're going on our first trip to WDW in a couple weeks....with that said are any of these places/areas that the stroller can keep MOVING while the kids take their naps? My twins only nap in the stroller and if it is moving. As soon as it stops they're awake. Normally we just walk laps until they wake up. We were wondering if there were any a/c areas we could push them for their naps each day. We'll be visiting each park.

You can do laps in the innoventions buildings at Epcot. But other than that, not that I know of.

I'm just remembering that, on our last trip (mid-September; very dead), we were allowed to bring our stroller in with us at Cosmic Rays, and there were many other strollers.

Another quieter spot in AK is back in Dinoland by the bathrooms and stores, it's shaded there. Restaurantosaurus is also huge so you would have no problem getting a seat in there at off peak times.

We had no problem with getting ours to nap in the stroller at DL! They were exhausted! My kids actually are more likely to fall asleep in the stroller than if I take them back to the room and say "nap!".

On our last trip we have a cute picture of them all bright eyed and bushy tailed on day one. Then the last day a picture of them both sound asleep in the stroller, tousled and sweaty, looking completely worn out. All week my DS3 had looked for Donald Duck and we finally found him while they were napping! It makes a cute picture at least.

The best part about napping in the stroller is that DH and I use that time to FP/Child Swap on the big rides and the kids never even know what they're missing.
