I apologize if this has been answered before. Can a child's annual pass be used to get an annual pass discount on the hotel room? If so, how many rooms can we get? Also, can a child's annual pass be used to get the Disney Dining Experience card? Thanks to all for your help!

They used to allow it, or at least let it slide, so I am told. I think they updated their position recently and now require an adult AP to get the AP room discount.

You cannot use the "child's" AP (ages 3-9) to get the room discount anymore. But you can use an AP for anyone over 10 (adult) to get the room discount.

Say for instance you have a child who's 15 and you buy an AP for them - you can use it to book your room since it is officially an "adult" AP. I know we have been allowed to use our son's AP and he's only 16. If it requires a credit card with the same name as the reservation - then we just put it on his "credit card" - sort of like a pre-paid debit card.
